Great for summer. Bigger than expected

It turns out that I prefer the more traditional innertube floats. I like being able to pop one over my head and lean on it or sit in the center and float. This is a fun, unique float - a great conversation piece, perhaps. We brought it out for family time with younger relatives, wanting to make sure there were enough floats for everyone, but wasn't our #1 choice for the week. It does the job, but I don't think I'll buy another. No quality complaints. It's just not my personal preference in design.

I picked up five different floatie items for our lake trip last weekend and this was one of the favorites on a hot day. Why? Because with your butt in the water, you stay nice and cool, and it throws you into the most chill position ever. We called this the floating La Z Boy, and it really is — you recline just ever so slightly while bobbing securely in the waves, plus you look like you just washed up on the half-shell like Neptune's daughter (or maybe his stepmom — I'm no spring chicken).This one allows you to converse easily in the water and provides the perfect amount of buoyancy. I let me mom try it and she seemed unwilling to give it back.Using an electric pump to inflate this was the way to go — I don't like the idea of inhaling anything these products might be made or finished with. With the pump, it was short work getting it lake ready and there were no "deflation events." Packs up small and flat, a breeze to carry or pack on a hike.

I ordered this float for one primary reason: it was cute. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability, as well as the comfort (but it truly is SO cute). It was easy to inflate by mouth (and honestly using a hand pump would be more trouble than it's worth), and a nice size. I found it to be easy to get onto, and comfortable for long-term floating (I sat out on it for over an hour the first time I used it, and experienced no discomfort). While it isn't officially "reclinable", it is large enough that you can comfortably lay back until you are nearly flat and still feel secure and stable. The air valves also seem very secure--I left it out for several days after use and did not feel like any air had leaked out naturally. This item is a great value and one of my favorite orders!

Will not support your back at all. Lean back and you’re lying flat. Really poorly designed and executed.

I got the avocado style float. Everyone thinks it looks super cute. It is actually very versatile - the backrest part will allow you to sit up or lay back. When you sit in it, your bottom half will be in the water. It inflates in two sections, and both are very easy to fill up with a pump. The one-way valve is great for filling that last bit of air, and the quick-release valves are good for quickly deflating. So far, it has held up for a couple of weeks with no leaks, and it seems very well made.

Really wanted to like this, but in the end there are better floating chairs out there. We used this chair 2x before deciding that it just wouldn’t cut it and there are more comfortable options out there. No issues with leaking or breaking.

Although this floaty is super cute, you kind of sink down into it. It might be better for a child. Also, it would be nice if it came with some sort of way to rest your feet up. As it is, it is just OK for floating.
