They are beautiful, with nice
These are so cute! They are beautiful, with nice, softly yellowed paper. I've been using them as notebooks for all of my classes, and they work wonderfully. They don't bleed through, or show through too much (and I have very heavy handwriting). They erase pretty nicely as long as you use one of those white art erasers, but not very well with a normal pink eraser (personally, I don't think those pink erasers really work on much of anything anyway). Now, if you did want to draw on the cover, I'm not really sure what you would use. I found that ink seems to smudge on the cover, although it does sort of remain, but if you were wanting to label your notebooks, you might want to do so inside. I think this might be because the cover has a bit of a texture, with a sort of waxy overcoat (might be slightly waterproof, but I'm not going to test it).I also got a really cute little cactus notebook that was a surprise gift, along with an adorable set of stickers. Very nice little set, and I will probably order another one for next semester.

Even Cuter in Person!
These notebooks are even cuter in person! The covers of the notebooks are a nice thicker card stock, which I wasn't expecting, and each notebook is about 40 pages. The pages are smooth but thin, which isn't surprising for their price point. I wouldn't recommend using a pen with a heavy ink flow. Exactly what I wanted and expected!

So cute!
I love these journals. And the size of a 5 1/2 x 11 flash card, which I use for note taking. So I can slide my notecards in them easily. Easy to bend back when writing but they come back together when close. The paper is easy to write on. Comes with cute stickers.

Good quality, affordable notebooks that would be great in a traveler's journal.
I picked up my first four pack of these notebooks a couple of weeks ago and, overall, I am pleased with the quality for the price point ($10 for four notebooks at the time of my purchase). I think these are better than many of the craft-style traveler's journal inserts that I have tried and I will likely make a cover for them to use them that way. I will make comparisons to a couple of other popular notebooks below.INITIAL THOUGHTS:The paper in these notebooks is a cream color, just a hint darker and warmer than paper in Leuchtturm1917 notebooks. The paper quality is also quite good. It's smooth paper, so fiber-tip fineliner pens do well on this paper and last longer than in some other notebooks. That said, ink doesn't take long to dry and I haven't really had any issues with ink smearing or feathering. The paper in these books feels very similar to the paper in Muji notebooks, for those who are familiar with them, and it performs similarly. That said, I prefer the dot grid and paper color in these books over the traditional grid notebooks that I have from Muji and the price is a little lower, too.GHOSTING:Fineliner pens and gel pens are barely noticeable, unless you go over the same area several times. I've tested Sakura Gelly Roll (many colors), Uniball Signo and Paper Mate gel pens in one of these books and was pleasantly surprised by just how well they performed on this paper. Also, Faber-Castell Polychromos color pencils look especially nice on this paper and it's fairly easy to blend them. Some ghosting is visible from the other side of the paper with most brush pens, highlighters and water-based markers I've tried (except for lighter colors), although that is to be expected at this paper weight. I don't tend to mind the look of ghosting most of the time though, so that doesn't bother me in most cases.BLEED THROUGH:I've experienced very little bleed through with Tombow brush pens, Tombow Twin Tone markers or Artist Loft brush pens, unless I linger on a spot too long or go over an area multiple times. Stabilo Point and Pen markers do ok, but require a light touch or they will bleed, but that seems to be true of most paper at this weight and they actually do a little better on this paper than in my Leuchtturm1917 softcover notebooks. Mildliners do ok on the pointed tip end if you're careful, but the chisel point tip does bleed. This is also true in other notebooks at this weight, as well though, so I expected as much.MINOR QUIBBLESI only have a couple of small quibbles with these Miliko notebooks...1) The notebooks are stitched with a heavy weight thread and overall seem pretty secure, but of the four books I received, two had loose thread ends that were unsecured and one had a small gap in the binding string along the outside fold. The binding itself is fully in tact in all four books and a spot of glue will likely ensure that it remains that way. I'm not concerned about any of the books losing pages or coming apart at this point, but should that change, I will update this review accordingly. Also, the holes surrounding the stitching is a little more prominent in these notebooks than in some others that I've used, but it's not enough to bother me.2) While I really like dot grids and prefer them over traditional grid-style paper, I find the dots in these notebooks to be just a bit too dark for my liking and wish they were just a little lighter. This is me really nitpicking though.DO I RECOMMEND THESE NOTEBOOKS?Yes! Overall, these are actually very good notebooks for the price point. I will try to remember to take photos to add to this review later when I have sufficient light in my studio.** If you found this review helpful, please mark it as helpful to let me know and help other buyers. Great little notebooks for various uses
These little notebooks are perfect and exactly what I was looking for. My kids needed a little notebook to take notes in that was easy to carry. I searched through various ones and most were too small or didn't have enough pages. These are the perfect size, have thick pages so no bleed through on the back, and have enough pages to last. These also came out to be much less expensive than some others that I saw. These easily fit in my purse and the kids loved the designs on them. We shared some with their friends who also loved them.

Perfect size notebooks!
What a great buy! I have to buy small gifts for speakers for my MOPS group and I decided on these for a panel of 5 speakers. They are not only cute, but seem much more expensive than they actually were. I would expect something like this to cost twice as much in a boutique. I will definitely buy these again for gifts or maybe just for myself. They are smaller than a standard piece of paper, just for reference. But a great size for note-taking, prayer journal, etc. Or they would make a great gift for a little girl to use as a journal. Very happy with this purchase!

Great product, great customer service!
Love these! I ordered these for school and was super excited for them since they're beautiful and portable. When I got them though, there was a slight issue… so I just wrote an email to the company and the person who responded, Lilly, was so friendly and helpful! She responded right away and was very responsive. It wasn't long before I received a new shipment of my order (in perfect condition) with another cute notebook as an apology! Overall, I love the product. The notebooks are pretty, well made, and super portable, and the company's customer service is awesome! I'll be shopping from them again.

Great quality for a great price.
These journal notebooks are of wonderful quality. They are small enough to comfortable carry around and the paper is thick, smooth, and a nice off-white cream color. I use them for class, they're great to study from and their cute colors actually motivate me to take color-coded notes and study from them! I also use them as bullet journals and idea journals! Whatever your purpose, these notebooks will be great.
