Gasket leaks and valve will not shut off.
When I filled the gas tank the bowl instantly started to leak. I reset and tightened the bowl several times and could not get leak to stop. Shut in the valve and still lost half a tank of fuel overnight. Pulled the bowl this morning and filter and screen fell out. Gasket has marks like screen was installed wrong. I will not be reinstalling screen. I have ordered some 2” cork gaskets to use.

Leaks and not glass
I put this on my 1968 MF 202 workbull with z-134 continental gas engine. It mounted up just fine and helped the issue I had. But when I moved the tractor inside to prep for paint, I noticed an engine oil leak, and it smelled heavy of gas. I tracked it down to the part of the valve inside does not sit off the fuel all the way. It was slowly leaking into the intake, and with a downdraft carb going into the engine. Also the glass bowl is not glass it’s plastic, so when the bowl leaks tightening it doesn’t do much. I’m throwing out and going in a different direction.

It leaks!
Shutoff valve does not completely shut off gas flow, and the unit leaks gas past the gasket and down the bowl, no matter how it is adjusted. I even tried the original gasket--same problem. Junk.

Out of the box failure.
I like to keep parts on the shelf. The downside is when one is bad I'm stuck. This picture shows fuel flow with the sediment bowl turned off.. I took it apart and found nothing wrong so I'm assuming seat. I went through two of these and then gave up.
