Women’s Vintage Retro V Neck 1950s Cocktail Party Wedding Formal Swing Dress with Belt

This dress is so incredibly comfortable! For reference, I am about 5'6" and I got a size small. The length of the dress is perfect, as it falls right at knee length. By following the size chart, the size small was supposed to fit me the best, but I did find that the waist was still a little bit big and the torso piece was a bit too long. However, I expected this to happen, as I have a smaller waist and shorter than average torso. If an extra small size was available, I would probably choose that. The dress material is pretty soft, as it feels like a blend of cotton and spandex, which provides a little bit of stretch if you do happen to need it. Overall, this dress is great and I would probably get this in a different pattern as well!

I reeeeally like this dress. I'm 5'6" and 200 pounds. I usually order an XL, so I ordered this dress in an XL as well -- and it fits true to size. The hemline hits just below my knees. I carry my weight in my hips and thighs (pear), so the dress is very flattering and forgiving. If you carry your weight in front of you (apple), this waistline likely won't work well. I think the neckline is sexy without being vulgar, and a low-cut push-up bra will complete the look. This one is a keeper.

For the price I am VERY happy with the product. I thought it would be less quality, but was pleasantly surprised at both the quality of the product and how well it fit. I found it a little bit in the chest, but not so much that it can't be worn. I will update after a few wears if my feelings change. For now, I would happily buy this exact dress in different colors. The style is very flattering on me. It is a deep V neck, but doesn't flap open and expose the bra. The one thing I wish was added were some bra keep snaps. I might sew some in myself.

I bought this dress for a Valentine’s dance to wear something other than red, for a change. I got lots of compliments. The dress is comfortable. Prior to wearing it, I machine washed it in cold water and hung it to dry before ironing it. The pleats are not as full in real life as they were in the picture, but, I was fine with that. I’m 5’5”, I weigh 130ish, and I’m busty with a smaller waist. My measurements put me between the medium and the large on the size chart. I went with the medium based on other reviews, and it was a perfect fit.

Got this for my wife as a surprise/treat and man did she get excited when the package came from Amazon - and even more so when she opened it to find this beauty of a dress.She wore it to church on Sunday for a special service and compliments came from many there. Needless to say, I'm looking for more surprises for her..........oh, and our daughter really got excited and likes the polka dot dresses - so there may be a surprise in her future too. I heeded to the reviews and got a L where normally a M would do... so thankful for those great reviews. THANKS AMAZON

The dress is cute and fit well. The reason I took away 2 stars is because it STINKS. It literally smells like an ash tray. I don’t know how or why (maybe it was a return?) but it’s AWFUL. I even searched the fabric for ashes and burn marks, it’s that strong of a smell.

This dress is lovely! I got so many compliments. It has vintage flair, is very comfortable, and is just what was advertised. It fits well and is plus size friendly. The busy lines are mildly off but at my size I expect it. I bought a petticoat for extra flare and volume (first two pics without petticoat). It was just what I was looking for. I am 5’6”, anywhere between a 16-20 in dresses (usually 18). I have a naturally high waist and hourglass figure. This dress is a size XXL

FO NOT WASTE YOUR GOOD MONEY ON THIS, This dress looks nothing like the photo. It’s made of a very thin, poor grade of cotton or similar fabric. Arrived severely wrinkled. I tried it on anyway, because I could always iron out the wrinkles. I put it on and it had no tailoring. Didn’t hug any of my curves or compliment of flatter me in any way. It looked like I put a garbage bag made of cotton on my body. I will be returning it, but wanted to warn others.
