Great purchase! No training wheels, no problem!
This was a fantastic choice for our five year old! The consistent complaint I noticed in the reviews was the lack of training wheels, but I purchased this because it didn’t have them. So yes, it does not come with training wheels, but I did not want them! Our kiddo went from a balance bike to this, and the balance bike really prepared him to not need training wheels! He LOVES his new bike, the sizing was accurate so it fits him perfectly (the seat is easy to adjust) and after only a day he is almost to the point where he can ride solo without a boost! It seems to be well made! And we love that it has real brakes instead of pedal brakes, he seems to comprehend that better, as this is the fist bike he has had with any kind of brakes. It’s pretty lightweight but heavier than balance bikes, which I appreciate because it feels sturdy. Assembly was quick and easy, my husband did say he didn’t appreciate the Allen wrench it came with, but it worked just fine, I think he disliked more the tiny screws he had to use on a late Christmas Eve night. No complaints really! We are loving it!

Its a winner
So far so good. My granddaughter was afraid to try bikes with training wheels. I got her this balance bike and she was apprehensive at first but VERY quickly is seeming to find out how to balance and keep the bike upright. We don't have the pedals on yet, so I may revise the review then, but so far she is doing great and is actually begging to go out and keep trying. Most importantly she is now having fun learning to ride. Overall the bike is easy to assemble and quality seems to be great. The seat has a nice handle on back for adults to help hold it steady if need be. It also has two cable brakes which is nice. So far, I'm impressed. Granddaughter has a 24" inseam and this bike is large enough to fit.

My son loves his bike!!
This was the perfect bike for my 7 yr old who was frustrated with learning to ride a bike. He's only had it for 2 days. Started with the balance bike and said he felt ready for the pedals. I couldn't be happier, hes actually riding his bike after just a day and he loves it. I will recommend this bike to everyone

Issues with both bikes we ordered
First, we ordered a "like new" 12 inch white bike from Amazon resale, but it arrived with the metal all scratched up and missing parts. The bike itself seemed like it would have been nice otherwise, but we had to return it and try again. After that, we decided to buy a new option instead and went with the 12" black bike, which was on sale at the time. When we got it, there was a note saying we had received an "upgrade despite it being in stock", which is basically their way of saying they didn't send me the bike I had ordered and wanted. The handlebars had a plastic piece in the center, where the original only had metal. And the seat was the black version that had less space between the seat and the plastic piece behind it (allowing for an even smaller area on an already small seat). The back of the seat had the rocket blaster looking water bottle (which is awkwardly shaped and has two lids that screw on) attached rather than the holder being separate and sized for a regular water bottle. Sadly, if you wanted to simply remove the rocket water bottle, the plastic back of the seat has openings that seem flimsy and like they would accumulate dust/water. Additionally, one of the brake lines was bright orange rather than black. All in all, a disappointment, but after having ordered multiple like new options which all arrived either missing parts or with the metal all scratched up, we weren't too hopeful about being able to reorder it and actually receive the correct one if they swapped this one out without permission. It does have the wider than standard wheels which is a nice feature for new riders and is overall a nice bike, which is why we kept trying. For the price though, you would think they would send you the bike you ordered rather than assuming you would be fine with a different version.

Awesome Pink Bike My Kid Loves Riding!
I got the RoyalBaby Freestyle Kids Bike (20 inch, pink) for my daughter, and she’s over the moon with it! It’s been such a hit, and I’m super impressed with how well-made and easy to set up this bike is—definitely a great pick for kids ages 6-10. Right out of the box, this bike was a breeze to put together. It came about 95% pre-assembled, so I just had to attach the handlebars, seat, pedals, and fenders. The instructions were clear, and it took maybe 15 minutes. The pink color is vibrant and exactly what my daughter wanted—she loves showing it off! The BMX-inspired design looks sporty and cool, and it comes with a water bottle and holder, which she thinks is the best part. The bike feels sturdy with its steel frame and 2.4-inch wide tires, which give her great stability on pavement and even some light gravel in our neighborhood. The dual hand brakes are a big plus—no coaster brake here, which I love because it’s easier for her to get the hang of stopping smoothly. Other parents on Amazon mentioned the brakes are well-adjusted from the factory, and I found that to be true; they worked perfectly right away. The adjustable seat and handlebars are awesome since she’s still growing, so this bike should last her a few years. My daughter says it’s comfy to ride, though some reviews noted the seat can be a bit hard, so we might add a gel cover later. It’s a little heavy compared to pricier bikes, but she’s 8 and handles it just fine. The kickstand is handy for parking, and the bell adds a fun touch she loves ringing. We had a small issue with one tire arriving slightly underinflated, but a quick pump fixed it—no big deal. For the price, this bike is a steal, especially with all the features and solid build. It’s perfect for getting her out and active, and she’s already zipping around like a pro. If you’re looking for a reliable, stylish bike for your kid, this one’s a winner. We’re thrilled with it and would totally buy another RoyalBaby in the future!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I bought this bike for a 7-year old. It is advertised as a bike that is suitable for training wheels. This is what later found: 1. I had to buy the training wheels separately, which I did. 2. There are no training wheels sold by the manufacturer, so I had to buy generic ones. 3. I bought 3 different sets if training wheels, none if which would fit. 4. The reason is because it is NOT suitable for training wheels due to the fact that the length of the bolt that goes thru the wheel to aecure it onto the frame is not long enough. 5. I had to get extenders, which still didnt work. 6. In the process, the chain and the rest of the moving parts fell apart. I bought it as a birthday gift and by the time it was time for gifting it, the return window closed. I am now out of pocket over $250. Do not believe the listing information or the reviews IF you are planning to put on training wheels.

Quality product!
Back in college, I used to work in a bike shop that sold low-mid price bicycles. I spent a lot of time assembling and repairing them. Lots of times, lower-end bikes had lots of issues: bent parts, untrue wheels, misaligned brakes, etc. I had never heard of the Royal Baby brand before, but after reading other reviews, I decided to get one for my eight year old son. Of course, when it arrived, I gave it my usual thorough walkthrough. Initially, I noticed that the parts seemed to be good quality. Welds were solid and the finish was perfect. Assembly was just like any other bicycle: pedals, handlebars, seat, accessories. All parts lined up perfectly on the first try. No fighting, no twisting and pulling, none of that. It also comes with some cheap tools to help with assembly, so you don't have to worry about finding a pedal wrench, or the right size metric allen. Once together, I started to look at the mechanics. Tires were very true. There was no noticeable wobble to them, which was abnormal for bikes in the $100-150 range. The brakes were adjusted perfectly. They were centered on the rim and had the perfect amount of pull. Overall, it seems like a quality bike for the price and I am pleased with the purchase.
