I bought this as an "extra" to pack when we rent houses when traveling as they rarely have decent knives. Loved it so much that it quickly came out of the travel pack and into our home kitchen. A year later, it's still our preferred knife, so we bought a second one. It had held up great, super sharp, lightweight, great knife!

Our knives were in some sorry shape but I don’t think we realized how cheap they were until this knife arrived! It’s been amazing and hasn’t spent a full day in the drawer since we bought it. It’s wonderfully sharp and has a nice feel in the hand. It tackles anything and everything we’ve tried with so much more ease than our old set. The blade is quite securely in the handle and while it is a plastic handle, it performs better than most. An excellent knife for the price point! My husband normally rolls his eyes when another smiling package arrives but he actually commented on how much he likes this one.

It looks great but I’m not sure if the quality is great. I felt like the blade dulled immediately. The first few times I used it, it was doing the job then very quickly I had to buy a sharpener. Very easy to clean and the black hasn’t gone away for me yet. Grip is good too.

📌Unboxing The package is very simple with no color, as a sealed plastic envelope, there is not much to it it just present the knife as it is. Scissors or other knife required to open the package 📌Handling The knife seems heavier than it really is, his shape and form is very similar to other brands like Tramontina and Cuisinart but is not that heavy. This comes with pros and Cons, since the knife is not that heavy is perfect ot precision cuts and better food handling, however can be complicated a the time of cutting tick meat cuts. 📌Final Thoughts I Like the home Hero a lot, the knife is big but not as heavy as others, it has great cutting edge, the handler is a plastic like material black but it adjust perfectly with your hand, like an ergonomic design, the color is fantastic and discreet, I tested the knife with multiple food choices and had no issues with it, the prize is unbeatable since is very accessible. However I have my concerns with the cutting edge, the knife seems will lose its sharpness quick since it might be not that heavy, would recommend to buy a sharpening tool since is not included. Added to that the black finish might be affected by the sharpening. considering all i feel is a 5 star purchase

Y'all I NEVER thought this knife would be amazing for such a low price! But here we are. Dammit, Bezos, you did it again. Before I got this product, I was painstakingly chopping up hearty fruits and veggies all day err day. I'm talking pineapples and sweet potatoes on the regular. And my slicing tool was what could only be referred to as a sharp butter knife. My wrist would be aching by the end of what should be a relaxing process of creating healthy meals. THIS KNIFE CHANGED EVERYTHING. It cuts like butter. Be careful, it's shockingly sharp. The weight of the metal is just heavy enough so your chops have some swing to them, but it is not taxing on the wrist at all. Great handle and has a really sharp look with the granite color. I absolutely love it. I should've bought it sooner. For less than $10, it has an amazing ROI.

I did receive this product free to test. I was a little iffy about how good this knife would be for so cheap. When it arrived it was in simple plastic with no care instructions, which seemed to confirm my concerns. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. The knife seems to be well made with a durable and comfortable handle. The blade is extremely sharp, cutting through the wrapper of beef chub like it was butter. After a few uses and washes, the blade is still sharp. I am very happy with the product and probably ordering another one. Update: I've had this knife for a couple of months now and it is still as sharp as when I first opened it. I am definitely impressed and am going to order more.

I have absolutely no dislikes at all about this knife, after I first tried this knife I put up all of my 40 kitchen knives I had in a box and kept this only knife in my kitchen. I'll probably start carrying this knife when I go fishing and I will definitively be cleaning my fish with this knife. So this knife is such a great knife it just replaced what 40 knives does in a kitchen.

First the good: Overall, it's a very sleek looking knife. Right out of the box, it was impressively sharp. Not scary sharp - you won't be doing sashimi with this, but it does a very good job slicing through most things. The non-stick blade is definitely non-stick, which is a nice feature. It definitely glides through food. And the handle is pretty comfortable. Now the bad: The handle feels cheap. Like hollow plastic cheap. If I hit it with a hammer or dropped it on a tile floor, I wonder if it would shatter. It's super-light, which gives the knife very front heavy handling. I'm slow with a knife, so it honestly doesn't make that much of a difference to me in the end, other than it makes the knife feel cheap. If you look closely at the paint on the blade, you can see fisheyes or bare spots where there were tiny air bubbles when it dried. It makes me question how long the non-stick coating will last. I definitely wouldn't use the scrub side of a sponge on it. The meh: Packaging, no country of origin markings on it, no product description or care instructions, just "Home hero". I guess if you're buying it off amazon, you already read that stuff on the product page, but it makes the knife feel less legitimate. The consideration: It was only a $7 knife when I bought it. Considering how nice the blade is, you have to give them some leeway on where they had to save some money.
