On the positive, I absolutely love the feel and look of this desk pad. It's more than big enough for the keyboard and mouse of any size. The stitching and graphics look great.BUT.........THE SMELL! I work in a construction-type firm where people sometimes come in with dirt and other stuff on their shoes and was taking over a previous employee's office when this arrived. I get the office set up - desk mat included - and start working away. For 3 days, I keep smelling this faint odor of gasoline. Not overpowering but rather just hiding in the background. I searched high and low, thinking maybe someone tracked gasoline into the office on their shoes. Nope, it is 100% the desk mat. I'm on Day 4 after unboxing and while the smell is still there, it's growing much fainter each day. Still, this isn't acceptable.
