I have used this to filter a variety of substances and it works well. Washing it out is very easy and has been used on many occasions with no degradation or discolouration of the bag.

I bought these mesh bags to strain celery juice from pulp that I had blended and they were fantastic for this job.... although a bit big. They wash clean very easily and dry very quickly.

Excellent product - I had made some cassis and strained originally through normal muslin. There was still a sediment prior to bottling so I poured it through the Therapin Nylon fine Mesh Strainer - and got a brilliant result. Despite the bags being blackcurrant stained they rinsed through almost back to perfect white and one run through the washing machine left them as good as new.

Very effective strainer and two jellies later still in excellent condition. Excellent value for money.

The mesh is much too fine for home brew use - unable to lift the bag due to water being retained which also means hop flavors etc not getting out.Avoid if you are a home brewer!
