I absolutely love this color, it’s like a tint rather than a thick layer of color, but it tints red beautifully, and it stains the way it’s supposed to. I was able to put clear lip gloss / chapstick over top of it without any smudging when I waited long enough for the color to dry and stain properly (I’d say wait about half an hour if you want to prevent any product coming off with chapstick). I also have not had an issue of the pot running out of color fast. I dab a small bit on a wet q-tip and apply to my lips. That’s more than enough! It comes off with my oil-based eye makeup remover, also for waterproof makeup. It makes a very flattering color that I enjoy, not too in your face, but a subtle tint. This is not a product for women who want to be “beat for the gods” with lipliner and the whole shabang. But it works great for a minimalist makeup and natural look, with a bit if rouge on the lips. It’s pretty! I also love that it’s a natural plant-based color, instead of chemicals. I was fortunate that mine did not break in shipping. These are shipped by Amazon, so if you’re having any delays or product breaking problems, let Amazon know, since that’s not the seller’s fault. There was no discernible taste, it’s completely flavorless, it just leaves a nice color.

Color looks great when applied at first but it doesn’t last, after you start eating or drinking something the first thing you consume you lose 50% or more of the color. It is transfer resistant, so it won’t stain your cups, straws, glasses, etc. I just wish it lasted longer in a day period.

Learning curve with this. I really like it though. Very nice color and very natural. It feels very rooted and like an ancient way that a long time ago women have been doing for centuries. It’s easy to use because of this. It just takes a little bit of experimentation to get it right. Love the color and the quality. I also love the versatility of this item and that it can be used in a variety of ways. It’s just a little fragile because it’s clay so you have to be a little careful with it. Good value for the money.

Love the texture and the beautiful color. It lasts much longer than expected and looks natural on the lips.

Fascinating idea of a beauty product, historically. You won't get much out of it, my photo shows a light area of where I've used up the color for only one application. The tint is just a top layer, I was really expecting the entire clay was red. It's not. Get it for the experience of what it was like back then. Get a normal modern lipstick if you want something more reliable.

It looked nice but didn’t last too long. I was out of product and tried scraping around the disc. Runs out very very quickly

These are amazing! I use these for tint on my eye lids, lips and cheeks too. Gives a nice natural glow.

I really love this product. It has a very natural color. It can easily be washed away if it touches the finger.

I only use 2 times and finished. Do not buy waste of money.

This is so light you dont even feel it. The stain last all day for me which is perfect. I dont wear alot of lipstick ever but this little clay pot makes me want to start. Sturdy little box for storage rather then in your make up bag. I do however recommend using something other then your finger to apply. As I said, the stain lasts lol.

It’s one layer of pigment painted onto terracotta by brush. It’s very little product. Not worth the price but the pigment is beautiful.
