Real down quality at an affordable price
The media could not be loaded. My first exposure to a real down comforter was when I stayed overnight at a friend's house. It was extremely cold that night and I was shivering as I climbed into bed. I didn't want to say anything to him but I was disappointed in how thin the comforter was. But because the comforter was a goose down comforter, within 5 minutes my own body heat, trapped by the comforter, was sufficient to make me warm as toast and I had an amazingly comfortable night. If you've never had a real down comforter and all you've ever used is the polyester "down alternative" comforters, you're in for a treat. There really is no comparison between the two. And while the various alternatives can be quite attractive and even reasonably warm, nothing replaces real down. The Puredown Goose Down comforter is 600 fill power, which is right in the middle of the spectrum. Fill power is a measure of the loft (or, quoting Wikipedia, the "fluffiness") of the product. A higher fill power means that the down can trap more air, thus preserving more of your body heat and keeping you warmer. The cheaper products are around 300 fill power; the more expensive products up to 900 fill power. For most situations, 900 fill power is overkill, since most of us don't keep let our homes cool down to 45 degrees or less. 600 fill power is fairly typical of this type of product. This particular comforter is well-made, with double stitching around the edges and single stitching in the quilting. The quilting is necessary to prevent the down feathers from bunching up at one end or another. The 300 thread count cotton cover is fine enough to keep the feathers in place. As I unfolded this product, I found only two small feathers that had escaped.A down comforter, unlike most of the "down alternative" comforters, must be dry-cleaned. To avoid having to do that too often, you will need to purchase an additional duvet cover to protect your comforter. That way, you can wash the cover as often as you like and only need to dry-clean your comforter once a year or so (assuming you don't spill on it).So would I recommend this? Absolutely. It appears to be well-made, with no loose threads or broken or uneven stitching, it fluffs up nicely, the cotton cover is sturdy, and the price is very reasonable, particularly when you consider that this is real down, not the "alternative." Yes, you'll need to buy a duvet cover, but that's a small price to pay. I'm very pleased with this and it's going to be my primary bed cover from now on.Disclaimer: the manufacturer provided a sample for review purposes with no restrictions on the review outcome. SO SOFT and Comfortable
I LOVE this comforter - its very light weight, yet warm enough when needed.

Good buy for down comforter
The Price point is great it is fluffier than I had expected, not too heavy, typical crinkle noise you would expect from a down; but not loud, Material is soft cool cotton/polyester blend, and I’m picky about fabric and this is nice to the skin to sleep on. Overall, it’s a good purchase. I would prefer something on the higher end for myself but I also would be happy with this as well!If this is your first time purchasing a down comforter this would be a good introduction!

Does not hold feathers at all
Had this comforter for about a month now. Continues to spit out feathers which make a mess. Constantly need to pick feathers off of sheets. Terrible product look elsewhere.

So beautiful. I got a king size and it's so soft and warm and cool at the same time. Great reminder of a 1st class hotel. Great buy

A little noisy, very light blanket
This puredown twin size down comforter cost about $65 when I got it. I bought two different comforters to compare them, this product and the "Allrange All-Season 75% White Down Quilted Comforter Duvet, 300TC 100% Cotton Dobby Stripe Cover, 600 Fill Power".The Allrange is better in my opinion, however it is slightly heavier. Partly because it has 22 oz of fill versus the other product which has 20 oz, but also because it has a thicker cotton shell which feels very smooth, tightly woven, and nice. The puredown comforter makes noise when you move, it's a little loud. The puredown is definitely a very light blanket, it's pretty flat. Other than the noise factor, it will be pretty good for summer use, whereas the Allrange is a little too heavy for summer.

Light gray is nearly white, order dark if you want to be able to tell it's gray
Ordered light gray, it's a paint color that's called minimal white. I wanted something that was obviously gray, order the dark gray. It's very lightweight despite it being called all season which I think is great. It's got to be the lightness of the down. I was replacing a too tough to clean what I thought was a light all-season. This is way lighter. The covering is a smooth feeling fabric. Obviously not like a 100% cotton one. I like it too. Hopefully it wears well and hope any minor stains are more unnoticeable if they happen. For a little over $100 I think I got a great deal. Looks like the coupon is gone.

Amazing, retains heat quite nicely.
Great quality, as a guy I like it cool until this duvet. I've usually slept with no sheets or anything but since I got this I've been under the covers with my lady and I'm not sweating or over heating. She gets cold easily and is nice and warm with these sheets. I like the heat retainsion without generating too much extra heat.

This Duvet is light but warm and cozy, love it.
It is good value for the money and you want that when buying for a King size bed. The measurement for a King are smaller than our Canadian ones. We put a white king quilt underneath so it's all covered and goes with the Christmas Duvet cover we have, red and white. It is a great buy!

excellent, light-weight 3-season duvet
We camp in northern Ontario from Easter to Hallowe'en. This duvet is ideal for cooler nights - lightweight but warm. I doubt if it would be sufficient for sub-zero temperatures of mid-winter however but that eould depend on how much heat was added and the temperature of the room.

Warm, light, great but not as fluffy
It is a lot more compact and lighter than expected. Super light weight, not as fluffy as expected, therefore depends on your preference, it could be too light for the comfort. But great for warmer weather. If you wanted the big fluffy but light kind of douvet, this will not be the most ideal. However, although it is light and thinner in size, it is very warm !

Not what's advertised
This is definitely not a goose down quilt. Not sure what's inside but sure isn't feathers.
