Got this for the stereo in my car. I like the different way it looks.

I installed this breaker to protect the wiring from a battery. It installed well and seems to be good for my project. Not great Quaility but at the price point a good value. One issue I found is the hex (Allen) set screws that retain the wire connection should us a 3mm hex tool to tighten. My issue was the 3mm tool didn't fit. I tried a 1/8 and 7/64 tool which are either side of 3mm and neither of them worked. I suspect that the plating on the set screws adds about 2 to 3 thousands of an inch (0.05 to 0.10mm) which prevents the tool from being inserted. I had a warn out 3mm tool and with just a scant of width removed it seemed to seat well enough to tighten the set screws.

The contracts in the braker do not seat well causing fluctuations in the output voltage. Although it doesn't trip, you can't get a steady flow.

I own a classic muscle car. It developed a short in the main wiring harness on the fusible link circuit. To replace the unit requires the windshield and dash to be removed. A very expensive procedure. With this unit, I was able to bypass the shorted section. I would buy this again.

Direct 12v. 30 A DC feed from car battery to automobile ham transceiver. Can be mounted in easily accessible location for reset if necessary.
