Great krill oil for essential omega-3 fatty acids, I like the added vanilla to mask the taste and smell of the krill.I learned that krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, eicosatetraenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), these come in the form of phospholipids, which are believed to be more easily absorbed by the body compared to the triglyceride form found in fish oil.Big benefit is higher bioavailability, meaning that your body can absorb and use more of the omega-3s in krill oil.Also overall a more sustainable source of omega-3s since krill are considered a highly sustainable source of omega-3s, as they are lower on the food chain and are less likely to be overfished compared to other fish species.

I got this to take as a once a day along with a once a day omega-3 capsule. It is supposed to be even better for managing cholesterol levels than the regular omega-3 fish oil gel caps. I won't know that until my next cholesterol test next year. I keep these in the refrigerator as I do the Omega 3 fish oil gel caps. If you keep them in the refrigerator, they do not repeat on you when you take them. For some reason it eliminates any fishy burping.

The headline says it all. I haven't had blood tests to see how well it works yet but the reason I started taking it is because my dr suggested it since triglycerides were too high.

This is a good-quality, wild-caught Antarctic krill oil. I take krill oil for heart health. This one seems to work just as well, if not better, than the ones that I have used before. It contains a decent load of Omega-3 EPA and DHA, plus phospholipids and astaxanthin. It is made in USA for a New Zealand company. The softgels are pretty small and easy to swallow. The directions are to take 2 softgels per day, which is easy to do.This comes in an amber glass bottle with a plastic lid, double sealed for tamper protection. This is a 30-day supply. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this krill oil. It is of good-quality and pure. Easy to swallow without weird odor or aftertaste. A little pricey though.

Just opened bottle to begin taking daily and counted only 52 pills in bottle stated to contain 60 pills.
