Disappointed with Preethi Coconut ScrapperI recently purchased a Preethi coconut scrapper through Amazon. Unfortunately, upon receiving the item, I discovered it was defective. When I contacted Amazon customer care, they advised me to reach out to the Preethi brand service center.However, after contacting the service center, they were initially hesitant to send a technician for repair. Thankfully, after some back-and-forth, they scheduled a visit for next Monday.While I understand that defects can happen, this whole experience has been inconvenient. If I had purchased the scrapper from a local store, I could have inspected it beforehand and ensured it was working properly.

Initial Review is a very easy-to-use product

TLDR: NEVER BUY.We ordered this trusting the brand because we have their mixers. But this one is, to put it lightly, PATHETIC. The idea is quite nice, but it is totally impractical. Coconuts will not scrape beyond a point because of the "safety" mechanism and it takes almost equal effort manually to reach this point.Detaching the Blade for juicing is also tedious because the blade gets inserted too hard. Detaching it broke a part and I think it is impossible to get it covered under warranty as they will claim it as user error.Rather spend your time and money as well as electricity on something useful other than this.

Prethi product always good, past ten years I'm using Prethi no complaints, service also very good any doubt they will help any time,NB:In this machine while you scrapethe other hand must keep on the top side of the silicone cover to avoid cut off the machine because there is a safety switch on the top side while scraping it will vibrate so better to hold the silicone case to avoid cut off.If you have enough experience with this machine,just look the video and try it is very easy to operate

DO NOT BUY this product as it doesn't meet the performance expectations as mentioned. After the purchase of the product they changed the 10 DAYS RETURN POLICY into only 10 DAYS SERVICE REPLACEMENT. Its a BIG SCAM that I felt from the product and the Amazon Customer Care Team,they just neglecting our concern regarding the product issues and the RETURN of the this SCRAP. Overall this Coconut Scraper from Amazon is a total 💯 SCRAP as it can't be perform well when compared to the good old handheld manual coconut scraper also it cannot be returned after the purchase of this scraper.

Not at all useful product. It doesn't work without safety silicon cap, we cannot set which side of coconut got scraped & which side yet to!! We got to take out the covet often to turn the coconut side yet to scrape. The collection bowl & the scraper bowl has gap, the scraped coconut gets collected in that gap/hole, difficult to clean this gap or remove coconut gets James in that hole or gap. Waste of time & money..

0 RnD on this product🤣 0 efforts quality is the issue coconut is hard so obvio ur machine needs to be built to that quality... n e ways practise vl make it there the silicon cover cud hv been white color and machine quality needs to be better.. buy if u cant use the traditional one at all.. for ppl who hv hand strength issue bt will need some1 to help..machine heats up as well so may be a small 1 can be scarpped at a time..preeti 1st time such a baad experience
