Worked like a charm
So I was worried to use this plug because it was 3 wires and my dryer was 4. I noticed no reviews on this so I will be the first. Even if your dryer plug uses 4 wires this 3 wire will work and no it will not lessen the dryers ability to dry clothes effectively. I have a newer Samsung washer and dryer. We just removed the original wire and popped this new one on and it worked as intended. I hope this helps who ever is reading this.

Extra long and durable
I live in an apartment and needed a longer cord for my dryer. This was perfect. Shipping was super fast as well.

Good part and fast shipping.
Good part and fast shipping. We bought 3 cords and connected them together to make one 30-Foot long cord.We have a gas range in the kitchen, and we are using the 30-foot cord to connect to an electric range that we put in the patio of our back yard. We don't like to heat up the house when using the stove in the hot Arizona summer. We also don't want the house to smell like food, especially because we can't open windows or doors to air the house out in the hot summer.I looked for one 30-foot cord everywhere with no luck before buying the 3 cords. We are happy with the parts and service. Thanks,Basam.

Solved my problem
I bought this as I could not find a dryer cable longer than 6 feet in a 20 mile radius from my house. Unfortunately, the people who had owned the house before us had a stack-able set and had an electrician, I assume, add the line about 6.5' off the ground. I searched everywhere and decided to go for this cable given the reviews. Thanks to Amazon Customer (http://www.amazon.com/review/R2RIAGKV2D4XBJ/ref=cm_cr_pr_perm/?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B001DICWSG) he mentioned that the image used did not match what you are getting and decided to follow his advise and also ordered the matching power receptacle http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FP8LK6/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 for this to work. I had them next day it. I shut the breaker off, tested the lines with my multimeter twice to make sure there was no power and replaced the wall receptacle and installed the cable to the back of my dryer. Presto! It took me about 30 minutes because the testing of the electrical power to be off took the longest. If you find yourself in a similar situation to mine, I highly recommend this cable and the matching receptacle. Good luck!

En mi opinion pasa las certificaciones
Normalmente en extensiones de 10 pies, no las certifican, yo considero que superan las especificaciones del modelo conorforme a las normas.

Great cord for the $$
Great cord for the money, I moved into an apartment with my only option for doing laundry is to take it across the street to the laundromat which I refuse to pay to do seeing I have a washer/dryer in a spare room.So I bought this cord to extend my dryer distance for venting and to also plug into the electric stove plug, which the original dryer plug had an L-shaped ground prong and wouldn't fit the range outlet, and for you people that will most likely give comment to the plug change for range AND dryer use, the dryer will NOT draw the amperage that the range will draw off that same outlet ( I know better, I'm not one of "Those people" that do stupid things)
