I purchased this item several months ago and I am very pleased with its quality, as it does not appear inexpensive. The product is both functional and durable with versatile dimming options. Additionally, the remote control is elegantly designed and comfortable to hold. I have encountered no issues with it.

One of the plastic covers of the led strips was almost out of the channel, had to play with it to push it back in place.Other than that it's a good looking fixture on the high ceiling of the stairway.

I just received and installed the Matven Modern Ceiling Chandelier Light fixture. It was just as described and pretty straight forward. although one step does take two people, one person to hold the light, and one person to connect the wires, pretty much the same as with any light. I do think it was expensive but after I got it installed and saw how awesome it looks, I don't mind the hefty price tag. BTW- The remote is not really needed. Flicking the light switch on and off changes it through the different levels of color and brightness. Very happy with this purchase!

When I first saw this chandelier on Amazon, I was ecstatic. It would have been a perfect fit for my dining room. I ordered it right away. This is where the joy ended for me, unfortunately. Here’s my story.First, the positives. Installation was a breeze. The chandelier is bright and lights up the entire room very well. It comes with a remote which controls the brightness and the color temperature, and has a couple of really cool automated settings which are a nice addition to the package. One thing you need to know is that it only works with simple on/off switches and cannot be used with dimmers. The dimming functionality comes from the remote. I was ok with all that.The flip side of the story is that the product I received is totally different from what is being advertised on Amazon. It has these huge and unsightly looking swivels (see my photos), which have nothing to do with the sleek design presented on Amazon. To make the matters worse, they make the cables look crooked, and there is no way that can be avoided (see my second photo).On top of that, the instructions state that whatever settings you leave on the remote, get memorized by the chandelier after 10 minutes of use. That’s NOT the case. Every time we turn this chandelier on, it starts from a default setting and we have to change the color temperature to something just a tad warmer (the default looks too sterile to us). So that feature doesn’t really work either.So, after discovering all this, I got in touch with the manufacturer asking for solutions. Communication with these people was torture, to put it gently. It took forever for them to respond, and the conversation was going nowhere towards a solution. It was mostly going back and forth, with no answers.I was told somewhere along the way that I was sent an “upgraded” version of this chandelier, and the original one presented on Amazon was no longer in production. They, however, had no solution for any of the issues I was asking them about. After 15 days going back and forth with these people, I had enough and called Amazon Customer Service.The only thing they could offer to me was to exchange the chandelier - but first, I had to send the original one back, and then they would send me a replacement. So, the logical question I asked was “how do I stay without lights during that period in the main room of my house then?”. It took multiple phone calls and multiple conversations with multiple people. At the end of the day someone agreed to send me a replacement while the original was still in the room. I just had to send them back the old one.A month and a half after my original purchase the replacement came and… as you might have already guessed it, it was exactly the same as the original chandelier I got. So, sadly, I am returning it, and do not wish to have anything to do with Matven and their “upgraded” chandeliers. I see in the product description that this is a frequently returned item, so apparently I am not alone. I had such high hopes for this fixture. It is so sleek and modern looking - only if it was the same as the one presented on Amazon...As far as I am concerned, I do not recommend buying it. I do not recommend buying anything from this manufacturer either. Not worth the hassle.

Great quality
