This is the best hammer I've ever used. I have worked in construction for 20 years. I believe in eastwing. Now im an OX guy.

I tried out the estwing and milwaukee finish hammer lineup for a while. But the estwing's are a bit too narrow on the head and the milwaukee hammers always mushroom after a year. A coworker had this hammer with the waffle grinded off, he let me borrow it, and the swing was really comfortable and I liked how it wasn't too long (awkward) and too heavy (i carry it all day). The grip is a nice rubber for gloves and wet hands and it's still heavy enough to nail duplex nails in no problem. The triangle holes make me nervous about prying it excessively hard. But i have a good catspaw for that. But if it breaks, it's cheap enough and nice enough for me to buy again. I recommend trying it out. I do metal framing/ some concrete formwork/ interior suspended ceilings.

Ok hammer but the non slip handle end ripped off after about 2 weeks. For the money this hammer costs that's unacceptable. For reference my other 24 oz hammer that cost half as much and that I've used for the last year with the same style grip is holding up just fine.

Great hammer I'm a form carpenter for bridges and I've never had a hammer heavier than 28oz the extra 2 ounces is what sold me plus the nail puller on the side is a great and functional feature if I wear this one out or have to buy another it'll definitely be this hammer again

Works great excellent for construction the grip last a lot longer than other more expensive hammers I've had, and the claw works great to fit under Truss
