Good deal...Cuts a good hole...
I recently started a project which would require 4- 2" diameter holes in some 1/2" plywood. I have never undertaken cutting a 2" diameter hole in plywood during the last 67 years. I wanted to do it correctly, as I do not expect to have to make any more 2" diameter holes in plywood in the foreseeable future. This hole saw checked all the right boxes. It made good clean 2" diameter holes, it didn't cost much. and it stayed intact, remaining functional, should I need to make more 2" diameter holes in 67 years..

Review of the All-Purpose Drill Bit: A Game Changer for DIY Projects
I recently purchased an all-purpose drill bit, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. After reading some mixed reviews, I was a bit skeptical, but I decided to give it a shot for my latest home improvement project, which involved cutting through drywall, plastic, and wood. I'm thrilled to report that this drill bit performed flawlessly! First, let’s talk about its versatility. This bit glided effortlessly through drywall, making clean cuts without any tearing or fraying. For anyone who’s ever struggled with messy drywall cuts, you know how crucial this is. The precision was impressive, leaving behind a smooth edge that required minimal finishing. Next, I tackled some plastic. I was worried that the bit might melt or chip the material, as I’ve experienced with other bits in the past. However, it cut through the plastic like butter, maintaining its sharpness and not causing any deformation. This is a major win for anyone who needs to work with various materials. Finally, I put it to the test on wood. The drill bit made quick work of several types, from soft pine to denser hardwoods. It showed no signs of dulling, and I was able to achieve clean holes without excessive effort. The performance was consistent, making it clear that this bit is built to last. To counter the naysayers, I’d argue that the key to this drill bit’s success lies in its design and quality. While some users may have had issues, I believe that proper usage, including the right speed and pressure, plays a significant role in achieving optimal results. I’ve used inferior bits that required constant pressure and left me frustrated, but this one made the process enjoyable. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a reliable drill bit that can handle a variety of materials with ease, I wholeheartedly recommend this all-purpose option. It’s a tool that delivers on its promises, and I can confidently say it has become a staple in my DIY toolkit. Don’t let the skeptics deter you—give it a try, and you might just find it as indispensable as I have!

Good inexpensive
It’s not a Lenox quality but it gets the job done. Very heavy in my opinion, cuts good .for an inexpensive hole saw this would be a good choice.

Works well
Worked out really well for me. The arbor bit alone is worth the price. Cuts through wood just fine. I use high quality Lenox hole saws a lot and this one while maybe not quite as sharp cuts wood perfectly fine. Go for it.

Great hole saw, sharp.
Works great, just go slow or it binds. This is do to the size not the saw.

Bargain price, but not a ‘cheap’ tool!
This 4” hole saw is a very well made; High speed steel/bimetal, with a solid heavy back plate. A comparable hole saw at the local lumber store runs $27 to $34. This is a bargain! The arbor/mandrel is okay, but I’m glad I already had the lock-pin style for this large size. Drilled 4 holes in plywood for push in vents with no problems at all. Easy plug removal.
