My first review was not so great, but Longer reached out, QUICKLY found my issue and started the process of sending a replacement part (flame sensor). As stated before, the machine itself is a fantastic machine, it was finding help that was the issue. Once they were on the case, they were extremely responsive and helpful. I do recommend the machine as a whole, but also understand you’re dealing with two completely different time zones when seeking help. So being patient helps. But they WILL go above and beyond to help.

This laser works great and was easy to assemble. After watching a couple of YouTube videos on how to set it up and use the software I was engraving on both wood and slate. The lightburn software is well worth the $60.00 that it cost. You get a free 30 day trial with it. The laserGBRL software works ok but it's not as fast doesn't seem to have all the capabilities of the lightburn software. But it is totally free. I would definitely recommend this laser to anyone looking to buy one.

this thing looked great out of the box. That is the 1 star this got. The problems started after I turned it on. crazy weird noise coming from the fan on the laser. Then I fired up LightBurn.. ok time to engrave and cut.... put a 4x4 inch practice piece on the table. Send the laser to the 200mmx200mm coordinates... wait... why did it go to 230mmx210mm coordinates? ok, reset the machine, checked zero /home.. checked it in Lightburn.. everything is zero. Let me try again. got to the 200mmx200mm coordinates, now it went to 180mmx240mm... huh? Well.. let me send a email to the support team.. waiting... let me send another...waiting... let me send 4 MORE.. nothing. Not even an automated response. Heck with this thing, back in the box on the way back to Amazon. Sad thing is.. I'm overseas so I had to pay crazy shipping costs to get it here. Now I am in talks with Amazon to get my refund for shipping because they only want to refund up to 140 dollars for shipping. It cost me 260 to ship it back..almost the cost of the machine itself. Just a bad experience all around. Normally Amazon returns are rock solid this time.. dunno yet, jury is still out pending refund approval. As far as the machine goes.. STAY AWAY! I'm not the only one having issues like this. Spend your money on something else and you might have better luck.

The learning curve can be a little steep for beginners, but after a while, you'll figure out how great this machine is. Most important thing is learning a good burning software for it. I've got countless hour of time using it with Lightburn and have had zero problems. I recommend buying the program. I get lots of wows from the projects I've done on it.

I'm a newbie in lasers and have made a few projects, and also I want to work on painted canvas, leather. I was able to find longer and it works very well. I have used to create birthday gifts and Christmas gifts. I’ve also been able to create a canvas painting.

The unit operates as advertised; works very well with Lightburn; have been running it with different materials and thicknesses and has been performing well. Have been running it with an exhaust enclosure and the air blowoff assist. Only suggestions: assembly instructions are vague regarding the adjustment of drive eccentric and the alignment of the left and right rails, how even do they need to be? One improvement would be the USB connection on the top of the controller; it is too lose and can easily get bumped causing it to lose connection to my laptop; I remedied most of the looseness by fixing a wide plate to cable connector to help stabilize it.

This has been a great investment. It has enough power to do a wide range of materials, including metal. It has been an endless source of fun for personalized gift projects. There are many Youtube videos with instructions for assembly and use of the software. Youtube is also a great source for project ideas. I bought it for my own enjoyment, but many Youtubers are using it for business purposes. If you are in the market for a side business, or even a full time business, this is a fine laser.

I bought this after reading alot of good reviews. One review stated customer service was great and responded quickly. So far I have had no luck with customer support. I get a message saying we can't answer, we're busy call back later. I've called alot and same message. Option two, call a number in China. I thought the seller or company was USA Based; I guess not. One issue was the movement protection triggered. The machine was just homing itself and this happens. Another and biggest issue is the machine powering down. The screen goes blank and appears to reset. When moving the laser with lightburn controls the machine freezes and powers down. There were no instructions other than the assembly instructions and the ones on the usb drive. I'm trying to get it going but I doubt it's the settings. Seems like a motherboard issue. Worst thing there are no exchanges just a refund before the 30 days are up. I've always gotten purchases exchanged. Not with this one and it will take some time to get refunded. Really disappointed with the lack of customer support and return options.
