Perfect fit
Perfect fit. Lug nuts feel of great quality for the price. Dealer wanted $400 for the set of 20 chrome ones. The black ones look nice against the alloy wheels.

Held color as they were tightened
These look great on my son’s truck. They were used to replace his old lug nuts that were starting to strip. He was able to replace them by himself and they didn’t become discolored as he was tightening them.

BROKE IN HALF
Lug nut BROKE IN HALF while threading it on. It started creaking and then broke in half under maybe 20 ft/lbs of torque before it was seated against the wheel. I had to take it to a mechanic to get the remains of the broken lug nut off. NOT ROAD WORTHY!! I was unable to drive the truck for a week while I waited for new Toyota OEM lug nuts. There is a problem with how the threads are cut and with the poor quality of the steel - you can see the seam in the threads in the third picture. It broke in half right at that seam.

Direct replacement for 2017 Tundra with TRD aluminum wheels
The factory lugs are aluminum covers over steel lugs like many vehicles. Over time they swell up due to corrosion and debris getting under the outer sleeve. Once that happens they get stuck in the socket or the sleeve comes off then you have some odd undersized lug nut. These are solid one piece and much cheaper than what the tire store quoted me to install replacement solid lugs. I've seen no signs of rust on these but the truck stays in a garage and mostly out of the weather.
