Q: Is the silicone soft material?

It is soft compared to most teethers. We design all of our AppeTEETHERS to mimic the resistance of a baby chomping down on a finger. It offers a little give on the surface but becomes firm the more they chomp down.

Q: Can this go in the dishwasher?

Hi Manndi! I've always just washed with soap and water, but since it's food grade silicone I'm sure it would probably be okay. I believe the silicone bakeware I have is the same type of material and that is safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Here's their website: https://littletoader.com/about/safety/#prettyPhoto. Q: Can it be frozen / put in freezer?

I'm sure you can put it in the freezer to get cold. I don't know how long it will last cold because there is no liquid to freeze. My son absolutely loved this and it didn't irritate his gums like other teething toys. I ended up buying 5 different ones.
