Barilla Pasta Sauce, Verdure, Mediterranean Vegetable Pasta Sauce, Vegan, Authentic Italian Taste, Bulk Pack of 6 x 400 g

When I'm in a rush, and to avoid grabbing something unhealthy, I always plump for steamed veggies in half a jar of pasta sauce with some form of protein and bung it all together in a microwave dish, so I have tasted nearly every brand of pasta sauce under the sun. I have to say this is one of the best. Firstly it's made primarily with tomato pulp, so it has the consistency and crystalline look of fresh crushed tomatoes. You can actually taste the tomatoey freshness. The other ingredients, particularly the capers, olives and the anchovy paste, combine with this pulp to provide a very satisfying taste experience. I now realise Dolmio and Ragu are just mass produced poor replicas of pasta sauce compared to this. This actually tastes like a sauce they would eat in Italy. I have already put in my second order. Lovely tasting sauce. Could be better on price

I purchased Barilla Puttanesca Sauce, 400 g, Pack of 6 ...I have never tried this sauce before I usually buy Loyds Grosmans sauce as it is a firm favourite with all the family even the fussy kids. This sauce is very similar but it has a lovely olive taste and I love olives. I have tried to make this into salsa by adding fresh chilli as it is very similar cold. I will be buying this every month as I like it and it’s cheaper

Barilla rules these sauces! Much better than the other sauces typically available in supermarkets.

When the package was delivered, it was damp and stained. On opening the package, I found 2 of the 6 jars of sauce were broken.Please replace these damaged and unusable itemsThank You
