Addictive
The most strangely addictive pickle I've had- it doesn't taste like any other brand. I can eat half a jar in a sitting if I am not careful. There is something about the slight sweetness to the brine that is perfect to balance the spice and garlic (although this is not a sweet pickle, it does have a hint from the sugar). Really love these.

Yummalicious
As a certified Pickle-aholic, these are very yummy. Nice dill flavor, a hint of sweetness, and all around flavor means the jar is not going to last long. I wouldn't call these spicy at all. There's a hint of spice but it's just a hint. But these pickles are good.

Seriously not worth it
[Similar to a review I made on their "pickled" red onions. The firstand third points are relevant as-is here too, only edited the secondpoint.]1. Extremely hard to open. To clarify, I'm not a small man, and I've never had problems opening jars/bottles, but this is INSANELY tight, to a degree that I suspect that someone set it so high as a prank. I even got some of those silicone jar-opening things and my wrist joints were aching for about 24 hours after that (I don't have any problems in my hands). I did three jars: I got one to open, a second opened after puncturing a hole in the lid, and with a third (on a different day because of the pain) I ended up puncturing the lid with a knife, sawing a bit to make a slit, then use a leatherman plier to force-roll the center of the lid over and out (see picture).2. I don't know what is the common taste of pickles in the south (re the description of "eat with a southern accent"), but these things taste kind of like midly pickled cucumbers, with some sugar added to make it even less picklish, and finally made overly spicy in a kind of an unrelated-way. (I'm not a chef, but if you've ever had spicy middle-eastern pickles then these things have a different kind of spiciness, almost like some jalapenos were squizzed into a juice and added).3. All of this is in an offensively priced double-quantity. I'm guessing that this is about four times what I'd expect the price to be, and yes, I got suckered into thinking it's going to be really good as a result.

Delicous!!
These things are amazing! I've bought the 2 pack, 3 times when they were $17.99. I'm not paying the $30.00 asking price now. That's freaking ridiculous.

Crispy & Flavorful
I love these pickles but I have to admit that I add sugar and let them steep for a few days to make them sweeter. They are wonderfully crispy with slices of garlic and onions which make them especially delicious. If you like pickles that make you pucker, these are good as is. For me, I want heat with sweet so I almost always "doctor" jarred pickles. These are great!

Interesting Dill Taste
I like the dill flavor and crisp texture of these pickles, but there's really no heat to be discerned. I don't care for spicy-hot, but a bit of peppery bite is good. What I've done in the past is add a few shakes of dried red chili flakes into jars of regular pickles, so I'll do the same with these. There is very little sweetness evident, at least in this batch, although sugar is listed as an ingredient. The jars were packaged very well - I've had some problems with this issue on some recent orders, so I was glad to see layers of bubble wrap and double boxing to prevent breakage...
