My child was obsessed with our fireplace and would constantly put the rocks in her mouth when she was starting to crawl. A stand fireplace gate was able to be moved easily so this was great. Once put on the fireplace, she’s never gone back to it.

Works well, really seals well on the fireplace, and prevents bugs and other insects from getting in through my fireplace.

It is very light and covers opening of our fireplace, which has bricks all around. We were skeptical if the adhesive will be strong enough to stick to bricks. So, when we bought this screen, we also bought heavy duty outdoor mounting tape that works on bricks. We put the mounting tape all around the opening, then we attached the screen. It worked perfectly. It was about 10 days ago and din't fall off. It looks very nice and blends in with our wrought iron fireplace screen so well. It is a very good value for the money. Very happy with the purchase.

This is junk

This is hardly noticeable and feels sturdy. I don’t worry about my 15 month old being around my gas fire place any more.

Got this to keep my baby from playing with the rocks at the bottom of our fireplace. Trimmed it so it could fit on the metal part of my fireplace and not on the stone, got some stronger Velcro too. I’m glad I did because the Velcro it comes with doesn’t look very good. Looks great though! I’ll trim the bottom eventually but it looks great and feels like a good quality product so far.

Overall I do like the concept. However, the adhesive could be better. Some mornings I come downstairs and the screen has peeled away from the fireplace and I have to restick it back.

Other reviews said that theirs fell off the wall pretty fast but almost a year later and mines is still stuck on the brick like new!!
