Cats love this food, and price is good
I feed neighborhood cats in my backyard, and they love this food. I love it, because it’s so easy to just peel open the lid and pour it into their bowl. The price is also reasonable.

Happy little 16 year old kitty loves these.
My 16 year old DSH kitty LOVES this stuff. Subscribe and save gives this stuff an attractive price… and my little baby granny Gidget, is a happy girl. Video is of the granny kitty immediately after filling her belly with one of these easy open little bowls… still happily licking her chops. Spoiled isn’t a choice, living here… It’s simply a way of life.

Great Treat, but Expensive
Our cat loved this treat, but it was too expensive to feed regularly.

Price more than doubled since August 2025
I had been a loyal customer--with auto-delivery. The price has MORE THAN DOUBLED since August 2025, this year. I had been paying $8.16 for 12'; it is now $18.99 for 12--that is $1.58 per serving (plastic 'can'). I can buy some premium brands for that. I was a fan, when it was reasonably priced (as recently as August). My cats did love it. They loved the gravy and texture. The cups stack & store easily. Now I am buying Fancy Feast, 24 cans for $20.-- Too bad!

Former favorite, now cats hunger strike.
Presumably this is the replacement for a similar Meow Mix product called "Tender Favorites". That product was paws-down the favorite among all my cats. Saturday was tuna day, and they would get to choose between regular human tuna and "Tender Favorites" tuna and shrimp. The cats would always clean out the Meow Mix bowls first. It was my cats' favorite moist food by a mile. "Tender Favorites" disappeared from stores for a while, and then this "Tenders in Sauce" product was apparently released as a replacement. It is not the same. My cats will try a single lick then go on hunger strike. Cats don't lie. Meow Mix screwed this product up. It went from the best in class to complete garbage. Literally. It's garbage. As in, it gets thrown in the garbage whenever I try to feed it to my cats. I even tried feeding it to the feral cats down by the park so I wouldn't have to throw the rest of it away unopened, but it was still there the next day. Not only had the feral cats turned their noses up to this garbage but even the raccoons wouldn't touch it. Clearly Meow Mix is trying for a cheap profit grab off the reputation of a formerly great product and have cut all of the quality corners until only garbage remains. I'm never buying this stuff again. Question for other cat owners: Is there anything else on the market similar to the old Meow Mix "Tender Favorites" tuna and shrimp? You know, just chopped up tuna heads and guts and a few baby shrimp? Human-grade light tuna isn't good for cats on a regular basis as it is pretty deficient on nutrients, but the rest of the tuna parts that people don't eat is OK for cats and they love it. Yeah, I know, tuna has traces of mercury in it which can build up to toxic levels if you (or cats) eat large amounts every day, but as a treat once or twice a week it isn't normally a problem.

Liquidy but my cats love it
Amazon deleted my long review so wtf… my cats love it. Yes it came liquidy. I got the $17 shrimp flavor with 48 cups. The liquid is worth it for the price, my cats love it and it’s easy to mix with some water if you’re trying to increase your cats water intake like I am. I use two cups to feed my cats a day (along with dry food of course). My cats look forward to their wet food time and have no problem eating this food. Just bought 2 more 48 packs because it’s literally so cheap and allows me to give my cats wet food everyday. Update: I got a different pack and it looked so much different than the 48 pack one. I’ll add picks to show how watery and greasy this stuff is compared to how it should look. I’m sure this is why it’s cheaper. My cats still eat it but clearly it doesn’t look how it should normally look. Update: found a disgusting piece of tuna in the food. I’ll add a pic, but my cats refused to eat it and I don’t blame them. The food really looks nothing like it should which is why it’s discounted. I won’t be buying the tuna and shrimp kind again because it just looks like oily meat water and I’m paranoid that my cats will end up getting sick from it.
