Perfect for uni
I bought this for uni and I'm really impressed by it The speakers are really loud and it's a decent size screen as well! If you're playing games, the battery will run out quicker but overall the battery can last me a day or two when I'm working! Probably the best laptop I've had so far :)

Powerful laptop but the screen is extremely bad
Powerful, good battery, decent keyboard which should be back-lit in my opinion. The screen can only be viewed at a certain angle otherwise the colours will be very washed out. I came from an OLED 14 inch laptop from the same brand and thought that I had just grown used to the OLED beauty but I compared this screen to another non oled and it rang rings around this laptop. So if you're buying this for media, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're connecting it to an external monitor. The sound is decent and does the job. Fans don't get too loud even when I played a light weight game. The laptop can't be lifted with one hand for anybody wondering. I'm also not a fan of the colour of the keyboard it reminds me of one of those cream keyboards from the 90's/early 2000's especially because it's not back-lit. For someone just looking to do office of college work, this laptop is excellent especially with the high end CPU. If you're into gaming or watching stuff on it, I'd recommend looking at something with a better screen.

Great value for money
Light weight, good screen and power consumption. Has Windows 11 home S , but this can be switched off easily. Overall very pleased.

Not built to last
Be warned about buying this. Not that it is a terrible laptop but it will be a throw away laptop eventually. I bought it as a cheap alternative to do basic work on and browsing. It does that fine but anymore, it will struggle. With barely anything opened (couple browser tabs, Excel), the memory usage is constantly at 80-85% which is so close to the limit. Even though product description says laptop supports 16GB, to my horror after opening up, the RAM is soldered on and not SODIMM! Pretty much cannot upgrade then.

Wrong Amazon list
People need to know that this has Windows 11 Home S. This is to use windows store only and does not allow any apps from other source. Luckily there is a way by searching online but it wasted a lot of time and caused a lot of frustration. That said the machine itself is nice, fast and now fit for purpose as software for a brother printer/scanner and other apps and drivers are installed. The Warranty I have been given on this product is only 3 months but after talks with Asus this is updated by my registration in about a week their system sets it originally at build date. This would have been 5 star the system is quick & adequate for my needs but deducted 1 star for my time wasted.

Best to avoid if you can afford a better device/brand
Would advise you save more and get a better brand. My first ASUS and the last, the main issue being quite often it freezes (within 3 months of purchase) - either with the screen on or sometimes with the laptop off -black screen and simply will not turn on...have to press the power button for a long time in the hope of resetting (but again that does not always work)....then you simply have to plug it in and wait for 20mins or so, then retry, very frustrating... I have tried to find solutions online and there are posts validating this problem with others having had similar issues. Also the power button does not even have a simple light to indicate when on/coming on. The graphics are the poor side with a lot of eye strain struggling to see the screen at times. Laptops are so expensive like everything else , the quality needs to be better
