Charge before using and possibly using extra battery pack.
Practice a couple of times if you're a beginner like l was, using different bits till you get the feel for it. Write you name with felt pen and make the black disappear. Hopefully it will eventually match.

Not much strength to engrave for more than an hour on detailed projects
I bought this to use on glass engraving projects when I was not near a power source. The company replaced the original drill at no cost and this one is much better and lasts about an hour at high speed.

Based upon my Daughter's excitement
I purchased this for my adult daughter as one of her Christmas gifts. She was EXTREMELY excited to have received it. To be honest I'm not even sure if she has yet had time to try it, but I can say, I've heard no complaints. I let her know that if it did not meet her standards it could/would be returned. I'm taking the silence as a good thing.

Idea died after 7 weeks, but company replaced it. Could use more power.
Item worked fairly well for my needs, but died after about 6-7 weeks (after Amazons’s return limit). The company was very good about replacing the item promptly, though the replacement has less power than the first one did. I enjoy using it, but wish it had a bit more pep.

This engraver works really well, and is EASY to use.And FUN to use...you will find uses for it that you didn't know you could use it for.Follow the instructions by going slowly, use gentle pressure.More importantly, EXCELLENT customer service and communication. Very accommodating seller.WHY can't ALL sellers be this Caring about their Customers Satisfaction

Kit complet parfait pour débuter
J'ai été agréablement surprise par ce petit kit. Il comprend des gants, quelques outils, une pierre ponce et un morceau de bois. Pour commencer, c'est déjà vraiment pas mal. Pour ma part, j'ai pu réaliser une décoration sur bois à offrir. Je suis ravie.

Kit très complet de démarrage pour la sculpture du bois
Il y a tout ce qu’il faut dans le kit: couteaux de sculpture, pierre à aiguiser, cuir à affûter et même un bout de bois à transformer en cuillère. Que du bon pour le prix. Excellent kit de démarrage
