SUCH A GREAT BUY!!!!! This will make our prom VIP entrance. It's solid, easy and looks great. I made one change. I put the paper toilet roll tubes on the chain link and then I cut and wrapped a red velvet blanket around the tubes and made it look like a velvet rope. Really nice. When it is set up at the prom I will take a picture.

These look like metal, are plastic, which have bases that can be filled with water, or sand, or rocks. Looks very sturdy and keeps people from turning in the driveway. Glad I bought them!

These stanchions are perfect for reserving an area for parking. They are easy to handle and the yellow is eye-catching! Was able to carry them in a large IKEA bag after bundling the poles together.

Even with the base filled with water, these will not stand up with the chain suspended barely off the ground. We also tried using them with a small sign attached and they blow over very easy. They are too short for drivers to see easily when backing up. Very disappointing given the cost.

I should have read the directions first before I assembled. Lol. My fault. I love them. But seriously read the instructions before you assemble.

Cheap, cheap, cheap! I am throwing this away and will buy heavy metal stantions and real metal chain. The plastic stantions blow away.

Worked well to create a bike parking area at our community pool. They lasted the full season, but were also easy to move around when necessary.
