I purchased a blue 5-gal Coleman water jug a few years ago. I love this jug, use it for rinsing dishes while I'm camping . I wash dishes in a dishpan and have the jug set up next to me and just turn the spigot to rinse dishes. But I found that with such frequent use, the turn thingy on the spigot would wear out. The original spigot got to the point where I needed pliers to turn it.. Now, I keep a couple of spares in the camper, so when I can no longer turn the spigot, I'm prepared with a backup.

The cap threads don't match the threads on the jug, so you can't get a solid seal. Attempting to tighten it more causes the cap to pop and loosen. This results in a lot of leakage, but it's still functional.

I ordered these to replace broken spigots on my large camping water jugs. These fit perfectly and work great, no leaks! Would highly recommend.
