I gave this as a gift to a family in need. They were beyond grateful. The set has enough weight & I'm will be used for years.

Our old flatware set was starting to get a little oxidized, so we decided to try this set. Oneida is probably THE name when it comes to flatware, and to be honest, this did not disappoint.There are zero flourishes with the design on this set. They are smooth and simple - no textures, no ridges, no dimples. And because of that, they don't clash with any of our dishes and plates, and they are very easy to clean. They are also hefty and sturdy, and feel really good in the hand. Never once do I feel like they are going to bend on me. I also appreciate the nice broad blade of butter knife.This set is a bit on the pricy side (~$90 as of the time of this review), but Oneida flatware can last a very long time, and so this is very likely going to be worth it years from now.

Looked at box and already knew there was going to be an issue, torn and looked tampered with. I opened it and found a fork with plastic sleeve off so counted them found only seven, and the same with each place setting was missing one.

The handles have unpleasant sharp edges, as if it wasn't finished.

Quite simply, it's Oneida...you can't do better for flatware. Nice clean rounded lines, simple and elegant. I know it says "everyday" flatware but you could use these in place of silver for a fancy dinner, etc. Each utensil is wrapped separately in plastic to keep them in good shape. Good weight to each utensil; collectively, the box is pretty heavy! 42 pieces in all. The forks are bigger than what I'm used to, but that's just me. The serving pieces are a good size. They recommend drying these with a microfiber cloth to keep up the shine, so I got one of those on order. Would make a great wedding or housewarming gift.

We kept running out of forks mid-day as we have our teenagers and all their friends in the house all the time. We needed another set that would be simple and look similar to our old plain set. These are perfect, I was worried the wider handle would not fit in the utensil holder standing up but they easily fit so no change to the way we load the silverware. The long fork is crazy long and the teens keep commenting the tines are 3" long. Kind of funny but works great. They stay shiny after weeks of high heat dish washing and use.

You already expect it from the name but after testing my first set of oneida silverware I can happily say that this is hands down the best silverware set I have ever owned. All of the pieces have heft to them so they don't feel cheap. All of the silverware looks fantastic and functions great! You absolutely could not go wrong with this set. It's the type of silverware set that you could probably pass down and I will be taking it with me everywhere I eventually move!
