This is a very well built heavy duty relay. AS others have mentioned the terminals are undersized for direct cable connection, however by adding on an adapter bus bar plate or modify, you can achieve the rated amps. You shouldnt have to, but.. you can :)

This is a large relay, with hefty construction throughout… except the screw terminals are tiny #8 screws. It’s rated at 80A, so I would want to use at least 6 or 4 ga cable, depending on the cable length. With the tiny terminals however, it is not useable at the full rated current. Ring terminals for 12-10ga wire are the largest ones that will fit, limiting the practical maximum to 20-30A, or at most twice that if doubled up terminals and wires are used.
