Small, practical and good value
I have used various night vision and thermal imaging devices regularly for the last 30 years but always wanted one I could carry with me at all times. The very first FLIR One was compact enough but didn't keep a charge for very long so would typically be unusable when needed. I skipped subsequent generations until I saw the competing Infiray. The InfiRay P2 Pro is even smaller, has a similar resolution but takes its power from the phone so is always ready to use. The App works well with good features for temperature measurement. My only gripe would be that the P2 is not very well suited to taking long video as it recalibrates often, which stops the image. This is a normal feature of infrared cameras however, as is the comparatively low resolution which is well taken advantage of and perfectly acceptable in any device sold for under a thousand pounds. Do not expect anything like your phone camera from the 192x256 pixels: infrared cameras work because they have very few, very large pixels. Having a true infrared camera at hand can be extremely useful to diagnose electrical, mechanical or heating problems, leaks and humidity issues and for finding critters in the wild, my main use for them. The P2 Pro is sensitive enough to show fresh dog tracks on the ground or detect a mouse in a field at night.

Excellent and informative, but unfortunate app name incorrect
Early days but the P2 Pro is going to be very useful in investigating the effectiveness of the insulation of my apartment. The main initial problem was that the iOS app is not called P2 Pro as the documentation and the prompt when first inserting the device states, but Thermal P2. Once that is installed, the voyage of adventure begins. The detail that is displayed is amazing, and I particularly like the option to take simple (rather than professional) pictures and then edit them and adding the more detail information, so turning a simple picture into a professional one.The only area I have struggled with is the orientation of the recorded image when holding the iPhone with the P2 Pro at the top rather than the bottom - having it at the top is easier to use. I haven’t found a combination of settings that flip the image but leave the annotations the correct way up. Maybe I just haven’t found the correct combination of settings to achieve this, or maybe there is a bug.I also like the ability to superimpose a small version the image seen by the iPhone camera as that makes it easier to understand what the thermal image relates to, which can become confusing when you take a lot of them. However, overall, I am very pleased with the ease of use and the detail information it produces, and look forward to my investigations over the coming winter on cold and windy nights.

Excellent bit of kit
I was hesitant to buy this camera after reading a review on Amazon that suggested that a You Tuber called Mark didn’t rate it highly! However, after actually watching the Mark Fixes Stuff video I realised that Mark actually likes it. Go watch the video yourself to check, skip to about 10 minutes in for his summary.Having used the camera for about a week (the iOS version) I have to say it is a fantastic bit of kit. I used a friends Flir camera a while back and was not impressed. The Flir camera cost more money, had a lower resolution, a slower refresh rate, did not have the macro capability offered by the Infi Ray P2 and needs it’s on board battery recharging quite frequently. Indeed, my friend had already had to buy a replacement custom battery from Flir (very expensive) after less than 2 years of use.The InfiRay P2 Pro provides a very useable 256*192 resolution and an excellent 25Hz refresh rate. The macro facility is excellent for close up examination and is essential for things like PCB repair. So far the camera and app have been flawless but it’s early days… the unit is super compact, feels very robust, and has a nice quality feel in use.Overall I am very happy with my purchase … it’s made tracing my heating pipes easy and like Mark says, it’s really cool to make hand prints (and cat prints) all over the place :-)

I'm happy
It's my first thermal camera so I can't compare it, but after some online research I went for this one and I cannot say I'm sorry. It seems to be pretty accurate. The app is not the best out there, but it does the job just fine. There are way more expensive plug-in thermal cameras out there with much lower specs.

It’s ok
Bit pricey but does the job very well. 👌

Very poor image resolution
You'd expect that this gadget uses the properties and video recording possibilities of whatever iPhone you plug it into. Unfortunately, it must have its own very low res camera or image conversion AI. We tested it using an iPhone 12 Pro but the result is a blotchy video. It might be ok for seeing what is hot or cold, but that's it. Don't expect to do anything creative or decent-looking with it. Its a regrettable purchase and I'm looking to return it.

Thermal Camera
Needed to check radiators for any cold patches. Gives different readings and is a bit random. I was expecting it to be better for the price. Not as accurate as I had expected.

It's cheap!
Unable to turn on. They won't do anything about it. Buyers beware of this brand.
