Li'l Pals Stainless Steel Double-Sided Comb Ideal for Puppies and Toy Breeds (2-Pack)

I have four of these Li’l Pals Double-Sided combs and plan to order a couple more. It is not only an essential part of my Maltese dog grooming tools, it is also the comb that I am most likely to pick up when one of them needs a quick touch up or has a tangle.Because it is so small, it is easy to take along on an outing as well as to keep in various places around the house which is why I need more than one. I have three Maltese dogs ranging from 3 to 12 pounds and while I use it on all of them, it is the main comb that I use for my three pound girl.It is ideal for removing tangles. I spray a bit of detangler directly on the comb rather than on the dog and it helps the comb slide through and remove tangles. I use it on all parts of the body but not near the eyes, where I use a plastic baby comb instead. I also do not use it on wet hair since I prefer a rotating comb for that. I have taken a picture of it on a one inch block mat comparing it to the other combs that I use.This is a comb that I highly recommend for any small dog. It is sturdy and comfortable to hold.

I love these. It's the 3rd time I bought it, 2 were gifts. It is perfect for facial brushing, it helps with grooming in every way. It's safer because it's small and allows you to have good control of grooming specially around the eyes. I use it daily.

Best bang for your buck!! Works great on mats! Easy to hold. Small enough to get in those awkward places. I love it for my schnauzers!

We have fleas almost year round. Great to have this to get or check for fleas. Dog loves the attention!

I ordered this to use on my shih tzu. It is easy to hold, has nice spacing of the teeth for ease of working through the coat and seems very durable. Nice product.

These combs are the greatest for small dogs. I have a six lb and 26 lb. Great for general combing, but also great for finding and removing fleas. Just comb thru fur a few times with close tines, leaving fur in comb. Then comb areas where you think there are fleas. The hair traps them enough for you to capture flea immediately and kill. None of the flea combs I've had works this well. I have to keep buying more, as I give them away.

I purchased these for my Morkie, Shihpom and Biewer. The tines are so close together even on the "larger" side makes the initial comb through difficult. It is pretty and solid. But even the handle is so small. If you have child size hands it may work for you. Just ok.

Absolutely the best product out there. I had bought one at Petco before and it always worked great. I lost the comb on a trip and went back to buy another, lo and behold they no longer sold it. They now have their own brand and I decided to give it a try. Big mistake, the Petco one didn't last more than 5 minutes before a tooth came out. I went everywhere to look for one; since I couldn't find it I looked online. Here the comb is less expensive and as a 2 pack cheaper still. I am very pleased with the quality of this comb. The quality of the steel is amazing although it does rust slightly if left near water (I found that out with the old one.) I use it for pulling out mats, removing fleas, and removing gunk from around the eyes. Definitely recommend.
