Excellent Kit
This is honestly a really nice kit. It came with all the tools that I needed to replace the battery in my JBL speaker and the battery fit perfectly. This however did not solve the problem with my speaker not charging, ended up being the micro-usb port being busted, which I am planning to upgrade to usb-c. I am still glad I did the swap though, the old battery was 10 years old and did not really hold a charge well. If you need to change the battery in your old JBL speaker, I can definitely recommend this kit.

Limited lifespan, poor battery quality.
Wires and connectors are good and perfect. The included tools are helpful. The battery itself worked for the first 1-2 months and then it no longer holds or takes a charge.A waste of money; poor quality.

Pay attention to the polarity of the plug
Battery works great and fits perfectly. The only issue is that the power plug on the battery needs to be rewired. Easy to do by lifting the little tab on the positive and negative wire and swap them. Use a wooden toothpick to release the tabs to avoid shorting the battery

Best Value for DIY Battery Replacement
Replaced the battery from my Charge 2+, using this kit. It arrived in a few days, and was the best value offered, in that it included the small screwdrivers needed. As an exercise, I found a helpful YT video to guide me through the process. It was fairly easy--but be patient when removing the speaker cover as it is fragile. Mine snapped upon toggling it back and forth, but it really doesn't matter as I had it surrounded by a carrying bra with snaps to hold it in place. Your screws will be numerous and small, so be careful to work in a well-lit area to aid your repair effort, and to not lose them.My fix was over a month ago, and the new battery works great so far. The fix was much cheaper than buying a new speaker!

Doesn’t fit
Tried this on a JBL Charge 2 but the connector wires are backwards and the cable is too long. I bent a few pieces and used some super glue just because I didn’t want to hassle with the return.

The tools were nice
Battery works good, and the tools are a Nice bonus. It was a little more work than I thought taking the speaker apart but worth it to save me over $100 for a new speaher
