Kampa Cucina Double Gas Hob And Grill Camping Cooking Stove Cooker

I bought this used and so normally wouldn't have bothered with a review but since this doesn't seem to have any reviews from anyone who has actually used I thought I would give it a go.I bought this stove for a scout trip as well as family camping trips. This is not a backpackers stove. It is heavy enough on its own and requires a calorgas bottle as well. But it is solid and well built and the flame on it Excellent, and the grill works nice key as well. The cooker is heavy enough to hold two very large pots of cooking for a large group. Or you can fit a couple of decent sized skillet and make a good fry up, while using the grill to make toast.I have a number of camping stoves and this is far and away the best. In fact it is far better than many indoor gas cookers I have used. The flames produce a very even heat. No more burnt food or sticking food or waiting ages for a cup of tea. You can use any cookware with this cooker that you use at home. The stove is easy to clean and packs up easily with the most difficult part of using it being the need to tote the calorgas bottle along.I am really struggling to find any negatives. The only problem with ours is that the ignition buttons no longer work very well. This isn't an issue for us, we just use a lighter. Just keep in mind, you will need the hose and regulator as well as the gas bottle. I would also not that this while this puts off some heat, making it very nice to stand around on a chilly morning, it is not intended for heating and would not be safe inside a tent.

We ignored the one review left for this camping cooker as there was no explaination for it being ‘rubbish’.It arrived promptly and first impressions looks good and feel very sturdy. It has decent size knobs to control the gas flow and will be easy to clean. The sides under the top burners are enclosed so should help retain the gas flow if breezy.We search the internet for a while looking for a new camping cooker. Watched videos, read reviews and after lots of consideration purchased the Kampa Cucina.I have only given it 3 stars as we have yet to fire it up but I’m confident it will do what we need it to do when the time comes. If not it’s down to the pub :-)
