Love the pencils
In my first order, the tips were broken on most and some were missing. The seller exchanged them immediately. This package was in good condition. I love such a large selection of colors. I am curious why it's listed as oil pencils. I could not find any information on the box about them being oil. I did dip them into water and it worked great for my art. I would say they are watercolor pencils and not oil but I am not sure since I usually use markers in my art instead of pencils. BTW, I used the white under my nails to make them whiter. I was going to order the white nail pencil but this worked fine :)

Watercolor pencils
Very nice for a beginner, they are very soft so be sure not to press hard or it will break.

Good product
Not as saturated as some I've tried, and the leads are of course super soft, not these ones are often broken multiple times in one stick. Causing the need to sharpen then it falls out and you sharpen again, it falls out, you sharpen again.........

Not worth your money!
Atleast half of the pencils came with broken tips. I have tried sharpening them but they keep breaking. I haven’t even used them yet and as you can see one is half way through and it’s still breaking. I’m using a manual sharpener that I got at the craft store with the watercolor pencils. I should of paid for the more expensive ones at the store. Don’t waste even a penny on these. Total junk!! So disappointed!!

Great variety and pigments
I am a beginner watercolor artist. I usually use watercolor pencils for greater control over outlines and shades. I tried a quick flower on cold press watercolor paper. The pencils sketched well and were soft to use. A few did break off and I had to sharpen them again. Then I did a first round of wetting as shown and the pigment was quite rich. The colors blended easily and did not get muddy. I also tried these on mixed media paper and they did quite well there too. Overall..this is a great variety and value for all levels. I ended up using a mug to store them since the carton ripped after the first use. But I rarely keep pencils in their original cartons unless its tin so not an issue.

Great pencils.
Much harder than my others, which was a present in disguise. I use them for the smaller sections when I color.

lots of color and lots of fun for the money
This is a review of “E-WEICHEN 72 Watercolor Pencils Sets, Professional.” Watercolor pencils are really convenient since they offer the precision of a pencil and, when you add water, the softness of watercolor paint. These work well, though I don't really think these are 'professional' quality (but I'm not a professional so what do I know). These pencils can produce soft colors, of course, but also bright and deep colors (sometimes inexpensive pencils won’t produce deep colors, but these can). And what a wealth of color. 72 distinct shades. wow. I do wish the shades had names. But the name thing is a small quibble when this set is such a good deal and so much fun to use.
