Great Feel
I got these because I'm pretty interested in Asian culture, in particular cuisine and their cooking/eating utensils and cookware. I've picked up a few random sets of chopsticks over the years but I wanted an actual set, and one that was durable and stylish.Normally I go for classic wood, but it's not always easy to determine the quality, or if there's a lacquer that comes off when buying online, so I went for fiberglass.I love that these have a bit more weight to them than most, not too much but a bit more than my wooden chopsticks. The tips are a bit thicker than I typically prefer, but not by a huge amount, and I'm pretty sure my favorite wooden pair is narrower than most to begin with, so I've been spoiled.I've had no issues picking up food (or any more than I had before, as a self taught chopstick user), and the squared sides keep them from rolling around if I set them down or one falls off the plate (again, novice user). I use them a lot for cooking, moreso than the actual cooking chopsticks I got, as they're so easy to use and again the squared sides keep them on the counter.Style was a big seller for me, I loved many of the options offered, though in the end I settled for a fairly conservative look (Japanese Minimalism I believe?) Mostly plain black with a silver lotus on the ends.Overall, very nice looking set, durable, clean up in seconds and as easy to use as wooden chopsticks.

Durable, Pretty, Work Great
I purchased these to use with takeout sushi instead of those nasty wood ones and they're great! They're easy to hold and maneuver and nice and lightweight and there's no worry of splinters like from the wood ones. Washing is a cinch and they fit in my dishwasher's regular cutlery basket without issues - but my dishwasher was made in Asia so it might be designed differently so definitely check that they do not hang out the bottom of the basket if you choose to do put them in your cutlery basket.Overall, they're durable, pretty, and work great and I certainly recommend them.

Solid feel, firm grasp, pretty.
These chopsticks are fabulous. 1. They are comfortably heavy, they feel very solid. 2. The pointed end has a more matte surface to produce greater friction and hold the food. 3. The little gold filigree at the handle is very aesthetically pleasing. It is carved, i.e., bas relief, but also not overstated. (I only have had them for a week so I cannot tell how this will age.) 4. They are easy to clean. 5. They come in a convenient transparent plastic envelope so they do not thrash around in the drawer. Compared to some fancy wooded chosticks I have, these feel more solid and have a firmer grasp on the food. By comparison to these the one-use chopsticks are totally flimsy.

great for beginners, strong with good firm grip.
There is no space between the tips plus it has a grip so the food won't slip. Many chopsticks have a space between the tip that makes it extra difficult to grip the food if did not grow up using them but these are easy to handle. I have my set for almost 3 years now and I only have 1 set that's broken but that was because of me being clumsy. Otherwise, they are pretty sturdy. I have been using my current set for over a year since I broke the last one.You can use them to cook if you don't leave them near the flames or use them directly against the hot pot/skillet or else it will melt but that goes without saying. I use them to stir my ramen with cooking, simple things like that but to do serious cooking I recommend metal or wooden.Anyways these are great. I'm ordering a 2nd set to have for guests and stuff.

Great to Use
These are everyday chopsticks that are great to hold (love that they are not round all the way), wash easily and quickly, and look great. I practically use them every day and have zero complaints for everyday use. Why not 5 stars? Only because if I had guests and wanted to bring out something a bit more elegant for the occasion, these would not be the chopsticks I would use, but neither would I use the elegant ones for everyday meals at home. If they would have the characteristics that would allow them to ride both sides of that imaginary line, I would have given them the 5th star.

One of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon.
I love love love these chopsticks. They're sturdy, comfortable, easy to wash, and classy enough for both casual and fancy meals. It's not often I rave about a product on here. These deserve the praise.I purchased the "koi print" which looks and feels like tiny fish scales. I can't speak to the other patterns, but I really enjoy everything about these. If I have a complaint, it's a very minor one: I'd love it if they came in hexagonal, octagonal, or round. I like a round feel but I understand it's not for everyone. Still, these are comfortable even being four-sided.Definitely happy with this purchase.

Weighted perfectly, durable, and easy to maintain.
These do feel like they have quite a bit of weight to them, but it's actually a better experience than using lighteright bamboo. They do have edge shape on the fat end, that prevents them from rolling around as well that has saved me multiple times from dropping on the floor acidentally, and actually rests on top of the bowl with a lot more stability! Super easy to clean!

Simple, Perfect
Sleek and elegant. These are easy to hold, and have a good grip. They are perfectly straight and flush with each other, no warping even after years of use and being run through the dishwasher. The square design helps a lot with this.

Hard to improve on chopsticks but somehow they did it
I'm a canadian chinese man. I've been exposed to dishwashers. In fact, using my dishwasher for other than dish storage is a key aspect of my life. As such, traditional wooden chinese chopsticks really take a beating inside my dishwasher. As anyone can likely imagine, high temperature water soaking into wood or bamboo is not a good look. As such my life used to be relegated to hand washing wooden chopsticks. Sure the wood was nice but I have a job to do, in order to supply me the necessary money to buy more chopsticks. So I decided to look around for chopsticks made form other materials. I've had plastic in the past, but they've often been to flimsy. Very light. Much like the one-time disposable chopsticks you would get. Also their heat resistance is dubious. We're talking about having chopsticks withstand sanitation cycles within the dishwasher. Hence i happened upon these sticks. I'm aware of the properties of fiberglass. I know of its heat resistance and rigidity but was unaware of how that might transfer to sticks. Having used these things for a few months, and having dunked them into the dishwasher many many times. I'm pleased to report they live up to the expectation and exceeded some. Foremost, the chopsticks have zero warping and can sustain dishwasher cycles at very high temperatures. There's been no change to the look of the sticks and the rigidity of the sticks also have not changed. What's surprising however is the weight of the sticks. They feel FANTASTIC. They have a great weight to them. Not too light not too heavy. They weight is distributed towards the hand side of the chopsticks making them very stable to hold in hand. They feel very very good in hand. And I cannot stress how nice they are. Hard to describe but really feels like you're holding a well made set of sticks that stay in your hand and are easy to manipulate. These are definitely worth the buy if you're in the market for good chopsticks that can withstands the challenges of a modern kitchen.
