TONE Socket Wrench Bit Set MIX21620P 1/4" Inch Drive & 1/4" Hex Shank Bit Red 18-Piece

I'm a big fan of compact tool kits. 80% or more of repairs can be done with these basic tools and they can go just about anywhere. I've been using a Wera Tool-Check Plus for several years and really like how everything is packaged together. The downside of that set is the tiny ratchet. It's really small, as is the included screwdriver handle. This Tone socket set delivers a better ratchet, more useful sockets, and a longer extension in a secure case. This set allows you to take on bigger repairs with a ratchet that feels a lot more solid in your hand and a T-handle that will give you more than enough torque on any screw. You do get a smaller assortment of bits, but the Wera gives you a lot of duplicates, so it's not like you're missing out on much.Size-wise, the Tone set is thicker in height, but shorter in length and the same width. The big advantage that the Tone case gives me is that it has just enough room to fit a pair of 125mm Knipex Cobra pliers, making the set even more useful.Pricing is another area where Tone delivers huge value. The Wera set costs quite a bit more and doesn't really offer much more for the premium.The tools themselves are solid. I love the feel of the ratchet and everything fits securely. This set will see a lot of use as my new go-to travel kit.

This is a nice bit driver and pass through ratchet set that comes in a sturdy plastic case that latches closed and has Kaizan style foam to keep everything in place.The set is metric and I do not know if they have an imperial set as well which would be nice for Hi-Loc type fasteners used in aviation.

Nine times out of ten, for small repairs, I don't need my complete socket set. This is perfect because I'm likely to have it on hand, and the extension and swivel head make it usable in many situations where a larger ratchet just wouldn't work.And, even though it's not impact rated, it works well with a cordless driver for low-torque jobs.

Wow! Someone was thinking here! First impressions are of quality. Time and use will be the reveal. I strongly recommend if you're into gadgets (like myself) and a full time tool junky.

This is another nice set of mini tools made in Japan.Although it may not have as many peices, they are quality.

This product does come directly out of Japan but I bought it simply to throw in my backpack when I go dirt biking. I used it to attach radiator supports to my bike and went out for a ride the next day and it was indispensable when one of my writing Buddies needed to take his tank off his bike and I was the only one that had the correct size socket so I have proved in the field that this kit has the necessary tools when needed.
