Stop dryer shreiking!
Easy to install and a LOT less expensive than the brand name. Got rid of the high shreiking, grinding noise immediately!

DE60FA Fisher Paykel shims perfect fit!
Drier was squeaking. I thought it was a belt. Did some research. Discovered there are wearable soft plastic shims that keep the drum off the front part of the drier. When they wear out the metal drum is allowed to contact the hard plastic parts…causing the squeak.I’ve attached a diagram to show their locations…there are FOUR not just one as diagram shows. Shim is listed as “1” in diagram. This drier has 4 shims (which are really slides)All 4 on on the top half of the plastic shroud.Unplug drier.You’ll need to take the 2 long screws out from the inside top of drier door (open door to see them)Then take the 3 machine screws out of the back top….this allows you to lift up the control panel.Then take the 2 screws out from the top, rear plastic ….youll see them deep in the two pockets on the top (they are hidden until you remove the control panel).Then lift plastic top offThen left metal heat shield off (it just sits there so easy to lift off)The. Take the two sheet metal screws out from top corners of front of drier, this allows you to pull the front of the drier forward and fully expose the shim locations.Two shims on left, two shims on right.Just slightly bend them and slip them in. In our case, 3 of the 4 original shims were COMPLETELY GONE!Then lift drum up slightly and push front of drier back into place…Metal drum now sliding on new plastic slides!Reverse the above screw removal processPlug in.No squeaking!

Cured the problem
Bought these to cure a shrieking dryer. They did the trick. One star off for not including some kind of diagram for which strip goes where and not making the strips distinctly different colors as like the OEM's. It took a fair amount of internet digging to get it right but in the end, they did the trick.

Work well
Work well to eliminate noise dryer drum started making. A bit of a pain to install but doable for an average DIYer.
