Great all around knife
I am really happy with this knife. It is a well made rugged design with a nice sharp edge and a good weight. The leather sheath is beautifully constructed with a high quality leather. I was surprised with extra bit of cordage, a nice touch. It’ll be a great hiking, survival, and multi purpose knife. Great value for the price.

Another great Knife!
This knife is perfect for camping this summer. I really like the leather sheath it comes in and just to add more fun to the knife, Beaver Craft also included a scan code so I could watch a video on how to make the lanyard with it. Which the lanyard materials were included with the knife. The knife is light weight so packing it around it effortless. The handle of knife is real wood which is another thing I love about this knife. The metal of the blade is study and the blade is sharp ready to use. I am so happy with it! Thank You Beaver Craft for another fine made product!

Big, beefy, sharp, and durable.
I own several BeaverCraft knives, and the blade on this thing is the biggest I own. It comes very sharp, and despite it's size is surprisingly easy to handle. A great outdoorsman or bushcraft knife. I've found it useful cutting down thicker plants in the garden too. It's also thick enough to baton with, if you needed to. My only minor complaints are that the handle scales were uncharacteristically rough for a BeaverCraft knife, and the leather sheath is not as nice as some previous ones. The handle scales are easily fixed, but the leather on the sheath is rather thin compared to the one received with their BSH2 model.

Sharp, tough and great for the price.
Fantastic knife for the price! Hair shaving sharp out of the box. The handle feels good in my hands. So far the edge has held up to some beatings. Looks great along with the sheath. Very pleased with it.

Well built knife
High quality, well built knife. The price point is excellent. The knife came super sharp and the sheath that it comes with seems to be really well made. I'm impressed with this knife. The only thing that I would like a little different is more texture on the scales, they're very smooth.

Great knife, poor sheath
I love this knife. Feels good in the hand, great strength anf sharp. The sheath was not made correctly though. It would not tighten up enough around the blade and consequently I lost my knife in the mountains.

Bushcraft hits all my requirements!
The media could not be loaded. As a wood carver I can’t say enough about bushcraft tools! I’ve been using their knives and spoon carving tools for years. Affordability, longevity and performance are key for me, Bushcraft does not disappoint.Given how well their carving tools have performed I purchased 2 of their bushcraft series knives. One I purchased a year or so ago and one last month. We travel throughout the PNW in our Sprinter camper, flyfishing, hiking, kayaking and mountain biking. I had an older Buck knife I’d been carrying around since I was a kid, it still held an edge and performed well but I needed something with a bit more functionality. As with the one purchased a year ago, this new BSH4 is gorgeous. Full tang, loop on the end, paracord included along with full leather sheath. With a touch up on a strop then thin coat of oil the first one has performed just as I was expected! Can’t wait to get this new one oiled up and ready for our next trip!

Budget Bushcraft Knife
This is a great budget bushcraft knife. Hi Carbon steel full tang will rust.So oil it up when not in use.The handle scales need wood oil of your choice. The steel and blade are superb for Bushcraft. You could use this as part of your Alaska survival equipment and rely upon it.The sheath is nice but doesnt hold up well. Such as the belt hanger pulling off at inoportune moments. So make a better sheath.Sturdy, Good Steel, Good edge geometry for outdoor survival and skinning game. The blade and tang are thicker than other knives by this manufacturer.Which is why i bought this model.Overall it is great for what appears to be a semi homemade or small shop made knife. Not fancy but very functional.
