My coolest new phone accessory
This thing is awesome and way more useful than I expected. Plug it into your phone and you instantly have a real thermal camera with surprisingly good detail. Setup is simple, the app is intuitive, and it works immediately without any fuss. Being able to see temperature differences in real time is both fascinating and incredibly practical. I have already used it to check insulation, spot drafts, look for heat loss, and just generally understand what is going on behind walls and ceilings (see photo!). It makes things you normally have to guess about completely visible. The image quality is impressive for something this small, and it feels like a serious tool rather than a novelty. For the price, this is an incredible value and one of those gadgets you keep finding new uses for. If you like understanding how things work, doing DIY projects, or just want a powerful diagnostic tool in your pocket, this is absolutely worth having.

Great plug-in thermal camera for home and DIY
I recently picked up this USB-C Thermal Imaging Camera, and overall I’m really impressed with what it offers for the price. I’ve been using it for home inspections, and it’s proven to be a handy tool to have around. The thermal resolution gives a clear picture of temperature differences, which makes spotting heat leaks or insulation issues pretty easy. The USB-C connection is convenient and works well with my phone. The image quality is solid, and the camera picks up subtle differences in temperature surprisingly well. The app could also be a bit more intuitive—adjusting the color palettes and overlays took me a bit of trial and error. The build feels decent, though it might not be suited for very rough job-site conditions. Overall, this is a great value for DIYers. It balances price and performance nicely, and while it’s not perfect, it does exactly what I need it to do.

An Essential Tool for Every Homeowner and DIY Enthusiast
this thermal imaging camera enough! It has quickly become the most valuable tool in my arsenal, excelling far beyond my initial expectations. First, as a perfect garage and DIY tool, this device is unbeatable. Whether I'm diagnosing electrical shorts, checking for hotspots in my car's engine, or pinpointing air leaks in the garage door seal, the 192x192 IR resolution provides clear, instant visual feedback. The USB-C plug-and-play design means it's always ready to go—no charging, no batteries, no complicated setup. Plug in, Download the App and start inspecting! However, where this camera truly shone was during the process of purchasing a new home. I was able to use the camera to review and follow up on the specifics of the professional inspection report. Being able to visually confirm cold spots that indicated missing insulation, trace the path of pipes behind a wall to better understand a plumbing concern, and verify potential water intrusion points mentioned in the report gave me an unparalleled level of confidence. I was also able to view the paths of the ventilation ducts, noting which were more powerful than others. It really allowed me to better understand the home inspection report and ask more informed questions, ultimately giving me peace of mind about my investment. This camera is not a novelty; it is a serious, professional-grade diagnostic tool that pays for itself immediately. Whether you're a seasoned technician, a DIY weekend warrior, or someone about to buy property, this is an absolute must-have.

Excellent Quality/Pictures for a small price.
This camera works very well. It is as simple as plug and play once you download the app off of the play store or the apple store. I haven't tried it with apple but I have with Android. I can say it sees everything. You can adjust the distance it reads heat from a couple inches to a few feet. Comes with a case to protect the camera when not in use. Type-C port renders fast pictures. I use it to see hot wires in electrical boxes at work or on machines.

Nice little camera, but the connector is very loose and unreliable. It now only works in one orientation.

Great tool for inspections. Works great right out of the box. It is not a professional tool, but the price and quality are great. Perfect for diy guys.
