Medicine Heart Oracle: Shamanic Wisdom of the Divine Feminine

Alana Fairchild delivers once again. You can see the great effort and passion that went into this project. Well recieved and well appreciated. It's a beautiful deck and the book as expected is detailed and drives the insights home. As anyone who buys fairchild's decks, you know her work is in a league of its own and this latest addition only further establishes that. Whilst not to distract from these chain of works I do hope to see Fairchild go beyond her current boundaries and take more risks with her work. Whilst I do like the challenge so far I'm not afraid of having my sensibilities ripped out from right under me. We have not seen the limit or full extent of this creator's contributions and I'm for one am willing to get hit by the fairchild bus.

Love the tribal-ness of this one and the healing processes along with each card. And the photos… so gorgeous. The Cicada Christ card is especially moving. My guidebook is highlighted because it has such golden nuggets. This is one of my go to decks.

This deck is really great! I love hearing about the different cultures and all the different shamanic wisdom. The illustrations are beautiful. There are a lot of aspects to each of the cards to sit with after pulling one which sometimes seems a bit random without context, but normally all work for whatever I pulled the card for. The book that comes with this deck as a lot thicker than many of Alana's other decks.

I got this deck because I simply loved one of the other decks by Alana Fairchild, but couldn't buy it because it is out of print. This deck is beautiful, the images and artwork are exquisite, and the text and healing exercises written by Alana are thought-provoking and life-affirming. However, there is little diversity in the imagery. All the artwork with few exceptions is of young, thin, attractive women. Mostly they are white (and look a lot like the artist!). There is only one man and a couple of cards that depict a masculine form (also young, buff and beautiful) with an animal's head. If this is supposed to tap into the divine feminine, where are the crones? Where are the wild women, the ones who are less than physically perfect but wise and accomplished and full of medicine for the soul? Men and not explicitly gendered humans are also part of the divine feminine. I wish these cards showed more inclusivity and respect for the huge range of possible forms - of age, size, appearance, gender, and race.

Longer book, colour pages, overall higher production values than previous (already nice) decks. I'm really happy to see her coming out more as heavily influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. The introduction and descriptions are all beautifully worded statements designed not to injure cultural appropriation labellers, despite reviews here to the contrary. I'm finding the place it's coming from is meeting me in my evolution. It's a work of great depth. I recommend it.

Very eloquent artwork and the book that accompanies divinely inspired with profound messages, highly recommended. Worth the wait and price.

Just like Alana's other oracles, this is channeled through all elements, deep from the soul. Absolutely stunning oracle deck Beautiful illustrations and a very extensive informative guidebook I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE this deck I'm a great fan of ALANA FAIRCHILD and all her beautiful card decks She writes so much beautiful extensive guided and intuitive messages like no other card deck that I have ever seen. I absolutely LOVE THIS DECK And I'm so grateful for it !
