Beautiful trash.
The media could not be loaded. I've come to the realization that I'm the problem: I'm giving into insanity.I know this now because I've purchased 3 of these and every. single. time. they come out of the box, they automatically do exactly what is pictured in the video - they do NOT hold a true 0 point. Period.I've cleaned each numerous times, including straight out of the box, with only 99% isopropyl alcohol, allowed to dry 24 hours before testing, and they'll lose true 0 again within 2-3 uses, *even in situations where compressor/refrigerant oil is not present* (i.e. new lineset). And yes, this is also with the device being kept in its padded container, sealed with their supplied cap, in a hard-shell box with my 3/4" vacuum hoses.Pictured is my 3rd one after only 2 uses. Both uses were where oil was NOT possible to enter the gauge. What has caused me to ultimately purchase new ones is that 2 out of 3 eventually would leak during a decay test. I would be going crazy because I would search for leaks for an hour, then suspect and inspect my hoses, my VCRT's, and find NO point of failure. I'd be changing seals, vacuum pump oil, hose fittings, etc. I'd resort to re-pressure testing and searching with an ultrasonic detector and find absolutely *nothing*.Finally, I proved it was the micron gauge with an isolation test, hooking the gauge to a vacuum alone with the stock connector and using a verified leak-free VCRT. Either the seals in the connector is inadequate or the gauge fails to hold. Bought a second one, found it doing the very same thing within a month of use. My third one does not appear to leak - yet.I REALLY wanted to like these because they're well-designed and easy to work with. But my third one will be my last once it eventually fails. And it will.Save your money, buy something reliable, and don't give into insanity by buying the same thing 3 times only to get the same results. NAVAC makes some nice things, but apparently quality is the least of their concerns. I'd love to see some field test results of their products, because they're currently NOT passing in the field. Thanks, NAVAC.TL;DRPros: its well-designed in user interface and operation; its battery lasts a while; it appears rugged and it'd potentially win in a micron gauge beauty pagent.Cons: does NOT hold a true 0 out of the box and/or will lose 0 in even the gentlest of uses; does not hold a vacuum reading even with paired with good tooling; costs an exorbitant price for rate of failure.

Best micrometer I’ve ever used
Don’t water your money on any other brand. This micrometer is the best you’ll ever find

Excellent Product, but pricey for a rechargeable Micro Gauge.
NAVAC is trying very hard to make very nice looking products, with hit and miss on quality control.

dont buy stick with well known brands
bought 2 both are not accurate compared to my yellow jacket and older jb micron by a buddy of mine. while the yellow jacket and jb were at showing over 1800 microns it was already down to 500 microns and the vacuum pump you could hear was still pumping air out. both wont reconnect to the app unless u delete it first and re add it. also one of the housings broke the day i bought it and when i emailed manufacturer i got no response from navac .
