The bushings didn't fully thread into the frame. After a turn all bushings felt cross threaded. I know it wast the frame because I tried bushings from another 1911

before you get some oversized bushings make sure you get these or something like them. i was certain i needed oversized bushings cause the original colt ones were stripped on the outer threads really bad. all i needed was to put these in and i was done. they worked just by putting the screws in and using the them screwed in with the Allen wrench i didn't need a special tool they worked fine with the included kit. a thread chaser would have been nice but i def didn't need to drill out or oversize the hole and retap... thank the lord and god bless the 2nd amendment and the USA

Came quickly product looked nice and well made. However, I checked the compatibility list. The bushings do not fit Kimber custom 2 1911.

The bushing fits tight for a S&W 1911. Careful to not strip.

Worked great and looks great
