Wings of Fire: The Official How to Draw

My grandson loves dragons and loves to draw. He reads this series so I got him this book. He is 10 almost 11 and he drew the most amazing drags from this book in the first hour of having it. I am so impressed! People thought he traced them from the book but I watched him follow the steps so I know he drew them following the book guides. Great instructions!

My 12-year-old is a big fan of WOF, and she also loves drawing. This book perfectly combines both for her! this contains a good amount of step-by-step dragons to draw.

I have been on an off with drawing for over a decade but never really learned the basics to anatomy and shapes. This book has really helped a lot and I can't even believe I drew this. This is the 5th drawing in the book, Queen Coral and it's the first time I've done it digitally and to the full detail in the book, (minus the pearls on her neck and horns) only advice I can really give is take your time and don't worry about trying to get your drawing exactly like the book. Add your own flare to your drawing. I did with this one.Overall, great book. Only complaint is the final image after all the steps looks a little different. That can be a little frustrating but didn't bother me as much with digital then traditional. (Because it's easy to erase and redo it digitally) But that's a small complaint.

Two of us have followed the instructions in this book to draw a dragon an adult and a ten year old. Both drawings came out really nice. I haven't used it yet but will soon. I wanted it to draw Freedom but that dragon isn't in the book so I searched online for ideas and created my own version of Freedom for an art piece I was painting. Thus the four stars.

Got this for our grandson along with the book set. It’s very easy to follow the instructions and he has drawn some amazing dragons. He’s only 7 but is able to follow the instructions and the results are really good.Highly recommend for any youngster who is interested in learning to draw.

We are currently on book 14 having started reading them during Christmas of 2022 and my daughter has read all 7 of the released graphic novels herself!!!Even I, as a 43 year old single father, am thoroughly wrapped up in the impressive story lines!!!Highly recommend!!!
