OK, only got few hours ago and installed inside another breaker panel for my A/C unit. Extra panel had room for one more double pole circuit breaker ! Other choice was put on outdoor condenser or indoor blower unit where it would be in sight; not covered inside a breaker panel. All panels are recessed in walls. Have another brand on another service for about a decade now and no issues, so have faith this panel service with a fraction of power draw will have issues. (same incoming service line) Guess once a year I may pull cover off to check ; just 4 screws. Would be nice for an indoor unit built onto a double pole breaker as one unit, but size restrictions would make it difficult to fit universally. Believe just a double pole circuit breaker spacing unit could be made. Then no wiring, just snap in place. Seimens is a great brand.

120V setup—no instructions anywhere
After conducting an extensive search for information on how to connect this device to a 120 V circuit, I was unable to locate any relevant documentation.Subsequently, I attempted to connect L1 and L2 to the same voltage source, but this did not produce the desired outcome, as the indicator light remained unlit.However, upon connecting L2 to neutral instead of a secondary power source, the indicator light successfully illuminated. I opted to use neutral rather than ground due to the absence of a ground wire with the device.

Relatively easy to install. Manual/directions that come with it are nearly useless. You'll need a dedicated 20-30A 240V breaker in the electric panel to install this. Keep the receipt, this thing has 3 year $10K equipment protection warranty, but there's no registration with Seimens.
