TTArtisan 25mm F2 APS-C Frame Large Aperture Manual Portrait Lens for Fuji X XF Mount Camera XT3 XT4 XT10 XT20 XT30 XT200 XS10 XA3 XA5 X100V XE2 XE2S XE3

I am having so much fun shooting with this lens. I love the TTartisan 27mm autofocus lens, so when I decided to try my first manual lens, I had to buy this 25mm f2. I mostly shoot monochrome so I am not concerned with colors so much. But the contrast is fantastic for such an inexpensive lens, even better than the 27mm. The build quality is great and the distance markings on the lens are accurate enough for my style of shooting. As you can see in the first photo, if you set aperture to f8, everything from around .8 meters to infinity will have acceptable focus. That pretty much turns my X-E2 into a point and shoot. I just turn the focus dial and use focus peaking to get close-up shots like the bird bath (2nd photo). The last photo is the lens with the Fotasy 43mm slim lens hood which is cheap and works well enough to keep out stray light. Great job TTArtisan!

I ordered this lens originally for the focal length and pancake size. It’s lived on my camera pretty much ever since unless I had a specific need. The size is great to keep everything compact. Lens is pretty sharp in most cases. It does suffer from lens flair, which I ordered a lens hood to combat that issue. But the price of the lens is acceptable.It’s versatile in taking daily life shots along with getting some close up work done, just don’t expect macro.Using the manual lens and mirrorless technology makes it a lot of fun to capture moments. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to slow down and enjoy the process.

El lente se siente de calidad. Es de metal sólido. Totalmente manual, pero sencillo de usar. Vino de regalo un filtro que le calza perfecto (en como un protector de vidrio que se enrosca y permite tomar fotos reduciendo rayos UV) pero lo más importante es que protege el lente mismo.También vino una pequeña brocha suave para retirar el polvo del lente y una pequeña bolsa de paño para guardar el lente. Todo esto adicional sin mayor costo.Estoy muy contento hasta ahora. Le queda perfecto a mi Sony Nex5.

While it works decent point and shoot at f6 and further, I found that the manual focus ring was all over the place, distances and readings not matching. Got tired of missed opportunities, ran a test, then saved a few bucks and went with a used Fujinon 23mm f2. Haven’t looked back since. Would return if in time.

Has significant lens flaring but takes nice shots

Took this on a trip and I used it 98% of the time. Great photos for the price.It takes experience to use being all manual, but I came to get very acquainted.Overall love this lens!

I've owned some other TTArtisan lenses, so I knew this would be a good lens. All metal build, including the lens cap.I like the clicked aperture ring and love the screw on lens cap.

I get it, its a $64 lens manufactured in 2023. It's not going to be stellar. However, the useability was questionable -- it seemed like no matter what I did, I couldn't get sharp images. By comparison, I slapped on my adapted Nikon 28mm/3.5 lens (which you can find at a similar price point) and the images were far better.The corner sharpness on this lens was abysmal, and didn't reach "passable" until f/8. I have a feeling that this lens was originally designed as a MFT lens and then adapted for APS-C camera bodies. I suspect that the MFT cameras don't show this terrible corner sharpness thanks to their smaller sensor.Overall, I'd much rather deal with the slightly heavier adapted Nikon lens for roughly the same price considering the vast improvement in image quality. Its a shame, but my hunt for a reasonably sized MF lens continues.
