The Obsessed Hero and the Villainous Family's Daughter: Volume I (Light Novel): 1

I desperately wish for more unhinged FLs and MLs in OI. These two are utterly insane and I love them for it.

La verdad no sabia nada de este historia, ni habia leido la sinopsis pero con el puro titulo me di una idea de lo que iba a ser la trama pensando que iba a ser la tipica historia cliche pero no pude estar mas equivocada... Y ME ALEGRO! Esta historia no fue nada de lo que esperaba, fue mucho mejor, la protagonista es agradable y el ML me dio tanta risa verlo enfrentandose a la familia de MC, eso si, considero que pudieron dejar un mejor cliffhanger porque el de este tomo no me dejo con esa desesperacion de leer mas, aun asi, comprare el siguiente volumen porque en serio, la historia es muy buena!

To start, the book is exactly as my title says, it is a story based on Romeo and Juliet where two opposing families that have a deep seated hate for each other dating back far into the past have children that fall into a forbidden love. Where this story deviates from that overused concept however is it's constant use of plot points that seem cliche at first, but are taken and turned on their head into something incredibly original and in my opinion wholly unique. To give some examples, 1). It has the classic cliche of a villainess character who is meant to torment the main protagonist seen in so many light novels and anime today. This is turned on its head by instead of the "Antagonist" being the villainess, her family are the villains whereas she herself is trying to do right while keeping them out of trouble. 2). The main character is a reincarnator, and one that is familiar with the book she is in. Usually this would mean she has all the answers to any problems that arise, but she doesn't because she skipped over some parts in the story, which led to moments that even she cannot predict, leading to a character who is prepared for a lot but Is not omnipotent. 3). Lastly and probably my favorite of them, the main character follows neither cliche of being the "Damsel in destress that needs saving, nor the super strong independent female lead that can do everything on her own". Instead she is a very well written mix of BOTH. She is incredibly strong and overpowered due to her upbringing, but is playing the part of being frail and needing to be protected to coerce peoples opinions to her advantage, while also knowing her own limits. As I said, this is blended together expertly to create a very original character that can appeal to anyone's preferences no matter which type you choose. I really hope this series doesn't get taken down by Amazon (as they are known to do exactly that with seemingly no reason given, and without a word that it was taken down, seriously it happens a lot) because I am most definitely looking forward to buying volume 2. I cannot stress enough just how much I enjoyed reading this, I had little expectations going into it since I wasn't following/waiting for it to release or anything like that, I picked it up entirely by happenstance and I do not regret it.

I really enjoyed this novel, I devoured this so quickly and I didn’t want it to end. Love the characters and the translation was superb. A good start and hopefully it stays that way!

Eine gute Geschichte um eine Schurkin die ihr Schicksal und die ihrer Familie ändern möchte. Estella lebt bis zum 7ten Lebensjahr in den Glauben das sie eine Adlige ist die in einer perfekter Gesellschaft gehört. Zu ihrem 7ten Geburtstag bekommt Estella ein traditionelles Geschenk der Familie nämlich die Wahl mit welchen Waffen sie in Zukunft Morde begehen wird und die Erinnerungen an den Roman.Der Held der Geschichte bringt alle zum Schluss um. Auslöser dafür ist natürlich Estella die versucht das Schicksal zu ändern. Ihre 3 Geschwister lieben sie so sehr das die alles in die Luft sprengen um ihre Schwester aus der Hand des Held zubefreien [ aus ihrer Sicht sehr zum schmunzeln] Ich fand die Story sehr gut und bin gespannt auf Band 2
