I work at a facility that uses an Android phone to scan barcodes where its constantly on, therefore the use of a large 38,800mAh Power Bank is necessary for the job. This cord, for use on the phone itself, is perfectly fine. I use it from the power bank to the phone and it works with no problems. It's a novelty to the guests viewing me work, and gives a visual effect that my equipment is switched "on" and I'm actually doing something other than just waving a phone around at barcodes.(psychology) BUT, when I used this cord to charge my Power Bank, that's when things went sour, the standard USB end got really warm, and after that, I get a message on my Android "Please check your connection, something is wrong", which I've noticed is down to a trickle charge. So no more high-power charging of power banks with this cord, just use it for the phone only. The flow animation is 1 speed, and non-stop, even when the phone is not connected. With this cord, you do not get the charge status flow effects. I'm buying another and I'll see how long this one lasts with just the phone use only. I only wish this one was 30watt capable, as the green flow looks much better.
