I never knew what being content and happy was until I took these. My previous experience of happiness and joy seemed so out of touch with my day to day experiences. I realize now I must have gut problems because this supplement works by making more seratonin in your gut. One more clue in my health journey and one more support! I will keep buying these for now (I use 1-2 a week) and one day as I heal I will not need to use them at all. Thank goodness these are made and so cheap!

This product is truly amazing! It's has helped myself these past 3 months due to extremely high anxiety,stress, anger. Dr Did not Want me on medication and I truly greatly appreciate the honesty. And the moment you take 1 pill (with food) 30 minutes to and hr you feel completely relaxed in a very good healthy way, a lot feels less off of you.

This is nice. I am a recovering amphetamine addict and suffer from insomnia and anxiety as well as depression. To say that sleep is hard to come by is an understatement as I was taking up to 3 (yes,3) Benadryl every night to go to bed. I’d take them at 7:30, and might be sleepy by 11. I’d wake up by 7:30 with no grogginess. I decided that this was not good for me after several people stared at me speechless after learning of this routine, and remembering my past. So, I decided to try something a little less interesting,er, I mean intense. This is where this beauty comes in. I remember my grandmother suggesting this to my mom when I was like 15 (along with St. John’s Wort, lol) for my manic outbursts and I figured I’d give it a try. Well, I’ve been taking one around 1pm (right around the time I start to crave my first glass of wine, that I no longer indulge in) and another right before 6 when I do actually have one glass of red with dinner and by the time 7: 30 rolls around I’m ready for bed. I hope it lasts. Fingers crossed.

I’ve used this brand before; with good results. This time, perhaps because a higher dosage, I’m having pretty vivid dreams which doesn’t make for very restful sleep. Will order again; lower dosage. Or pick up from local Dollar General where it sells for less. Brand recommended.

I had a bout of insomnia lasting over a week. I tried other OTC remedies, this slow release 5-HTP is a winner hands down. I can even get up to go to the bathroom and get right back to sleep, unheard of.

This supplement really works. For me, I take 1 tab with a Natrol Melatonin dissolve or chew about a half hour before bed, boarding a long flight so I can nap on the plane or anywhere I can't relax naturally or need to get to sleep faster. Lay off the caffeine early in the day and try to have an empty stomach too. Seems to help. I give myself a break from use often though so I don't build a tolerance or dependence. 😴🛌👍💗

I was buying this locally for many years but the price was getting higher and higher. Found it here at a great price. Trusted brand, does what it's supposed to and a great price. Yes please!

This is a brand of 5HTP that is relatively high quality, and for that I have no complaints. However, it is labeled as time release and is actually not buffered and does not provide the benefits of a time release capsule. This brand does sell time release capsules, which are more expensive but worth the money.If you are looking for time release, please view the product image. Only those bottles that say "time release" with a metallic banner on the bottle are time release capsules. This bottle IS NOT TIME RELEASE.In my experience, these non-buffered un-time-release capsules are good for acute stress and are quick acting but not long lasting. For example, if taken at bed time, I may get 2-4 hours of sleep then awaken.For chronic day-to-day use during the day to improve stress and mood, the true time release capsule is significantly more efficacious (especially for a young person or someone with a small body, since the dose is distributed a little at a time).
