My husband made fun of me for buying a chicken soup book - apparently that screams 1990's! We are trying to adopt and I was looking for books to read, this is perfect. I love the short, positive stories. I dont need another novel or deep heavy book to stare at me. I can pick this up, read a couple of short stories - and move ahead with a positive vibe. Some of the stories are from adoptions that are quite a while ago, I can tell the difference from our process now.

We have been matched and I read this book while waiting on our due date!!! I absolutely loved these stories that gave me such hope! I would recommend this to anyone that is looking into adopting, going through the process of adopting or have adopted! Simply AMAZING!!!
